My buddy just bought a BMW M340 from Las Vegas and he was brought in an enclosed trailer it was $1100 to South Florida. He used the same company I used when I bought my Mustang from Noth Georgia. ShipACarDirect

I drove my brand new 2018 GT350 from FL to KS. It was worth putting those 1100 miles. The best part was driving it on the Chattanooga hills. It's my first "sports" car and I was impressed by the 0 body roll.

Which one of these products are "stripe friendly"? I plan to use one for road trips but do not want to pull the stripe off with the tape.

Thanks

I LOVE road trips after buying...gives you a chance to learn the car a little quicker!

I drove mine ~800 miles from Phoenix to Sacramento with a small bag of tools (the usual screwdrivers, pliers, vice grips etc) and a couple quarts of oil.

19's have Cup 2's, I drove mine 1250 miles home in late April last spring. The trip over the last mountain pass was a little sketchy. Temps dropped into the high 30's and it was rain and sleet. The tires were greasy and standing water was dangerous. I tooled along at 40mph or so and took my time, staying away from any standing water. I didn't use any tape or PPF film, it was the height of covid and the roads were fairly empty, did no pick up even a speck of a chip.

Having the car shipped is cheaper than shipping and a lot less fun. If you feel like a nice drive, seriously avoid rain and standing water on roads, no matter what the temperature. Enjoy the drive.
