What do we know? Lets just get that info situated in 1 spot please. I feel it will save time for a lot of people wheel and tire shopping, now and in the future.

Correct my info its wrong

GT500 Base has what wheels ( size and weight)
Front:
Rear
Tires: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
Front 295/30/20 29lbs
Rear 305/30/20 30lbs

What Brake Size
Front: Brembo 420mm (16.5")
Rear: Brembo 370mm (14.5")

GT500 CFTP Has what wheels ( Size and weight)
Front:
Rear
Brand tire: Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2
Front: 305/30/20 29lbs
Rear: 315/30/20 30lbs

What Brake Size

Front: Brembo 420mm (16.5")
Rear: Brembo 370mm (14.5")

The GT500 rotors are bigger, so more weight. Wouldn't be surprised if the calipers are bigger too. I saw the new GT500 next to a new Bullitt. The GT500 brakes dwarfed the Bullitt, much bigger rotors and noticeably larger calipers.

Not sure on wheel size of base, but it also has 305 front and 315 rear.

The C8 is using 245 front and 305 rear. Maybe try that so you can try to keep up with them.

What is the theory behind GT350 rear brakes being larger than the GT500 rear brakes? 380mm vs 370mm?

Additional ebrake caliber??
My guess was weight savings.....but not sure how much .5 rotor diameter costs you weight wise.
