Damn auto correct. Caliper.

They wouldn’t keep it 0.5” smaller for weight.

In the front where change of direction has a lot more meaning than the back, that’s where desperate weight savings are required.

Anyone know or have a good guess as to what the max tire size you will be able to run in the rear on the gt500?

If you go digging in the wheel/tire section, I'm pretty sure somebody has posted up a 345 rear at least once.

I don't remember the specifics, but I want to say it was in an 'aggressive fitment' thread.....

The S550 chassis in the rear is what it is, whether its a V6, GT, 350,500.....I think we are maxed at 325 and 11.5 wheel. YES you can go 12 wide wheel or 345 tire or whatever but your talking aggressive camber and rubbing issues

Correct, not to mention there are more brand/type choices for 325....

All indicators for the GT500 Track Package point toward the same wheel width, just in a 20” setup. I will try to confirm this weekend.

You may want to update this initial post.

On the order confirmation for my base pack it shows the base will have the same tire sizes as the CFTP. 305/30/20 and 315/30/20.
