That is a nice ride.

You changed the design of the OEM excust by adding the H pipe?
You arent the OP so im confused now

Gt350s and 500s come with H pipes,my ride also has an H pipe (no drone)im surprised
the MACH1 does not have one from the factory
This is incorrect; the 350/500 comes with a resonated X pipe.

Curious if anyone else has the Lethal H pipe and is experiencing drone with it? I get drone between 1500-1600 rpm and it’s quite pronounced. It’s annoying enough that I put the car into manual and up or downshift.
I’ve also notice a warble drone, in which holding a steady RPM I’ll get a drone that comes and goes at random. Not sure what that’s about.
I didn’t notice any issues after it was first installed so I suppose I should get under the car and make sure the welds are all good and no leaks are happening cause this thing is now resonating the body panels in the car when it drones. @LethalBlake @LethalPerformance
Is the sound tube still in place? I had drone as you describe until I did the sound tube delete.
The delete reduced "windows-up" drone by 98%.
FWIW, I was diagnosed by an audiologist with "hyper-acute" hearing a few years ago, so I can sense minute changes in volumes, tones etc.

The GT500 doesn’t have a sound tube.

I had zero drone with mine when I only had the lethal pipe and stock catback..... Throw a Borla on there, it will go away. LOL

I have one on mine and haven't experienced any drone personally. I would definitely take a look to make sure the clamps are good to go as sometimes the axle back can slip if not tight enough. If you have any questions, feel free to shoot me or Tom a message anytime.

Ah. Ok. May have something to do with being supercharged perhaps?
I had a '19 Z06 and as soon as I went to a non-catted X I got drone...just a thought.

That's how to duit, Gary as I don't think any exhaust mod can eliminate the harmonics entirely. That said, the frequencies only appear to line up around 2k so avoiding that mark will do the trick. I don't intentionally keep the revs up to avoid it but if I do detect it about to start, I downshift.

Update: had the exhaust checked out and everything is tight. On a whim I decided to rev the motor while parked to the RPM where the driver door resonates. Opened the door and the resonance went away. So, for some reason having the door panel off (I’m installing sound deadening) has caused the entire door to resonate at 1500 and 2000 RPM. I should have the deadening finished up tonight so I’ll reinstall the panel and see if it goes away. Might also do a torque check on the mount bolts for the door.

Seems like any X or H will drone around 2K RPM, I hate that "boomy" sound and yes with tinnitus the drone is horrible! My solution... one Vibrant resonator in the drivers side of a Summit H. Still keeps the volume but cuts down on the boom.

Excellent suggestion. I have been searching for a drone solution for my Headers/H-pipe/Borla setup. I love the volume but hate the drone.

I have drone with my MBRP H-pipe and I did the sound tube delete a long time ago. The drone only started after removing the axle-back portion of my MBRP Race setup which had J-pipe resonators built into it (I replaced those with Borla S-type mufflers to cut down on the insane volume after adding headers, and this change helped with the volume but the drone has been an issue ever since). So now Im looking to add a Vibrant resonator to the driver side of the H-pipe as Mikepol2 suggested.
