Well the 2016 Camaro has finally dropped the excessive camo.. front looks to have a minor switch up and the back reminds me of an evo.

What sticks out to me is that beltline looks worse than the previous model..
Anyhow I'll let you all be the judge.

I still think it will come in heavier than our stangs though. Seeing as it still fairly close to the outgoing model though.. I know I wont be buying it for straight looks though

I can't believe they won't fix the sightline issues with this car - how many sales have they lost due to the pillbox windows? Two seconds in the driver's seat and I knew I'd never buy one unless that problem was addressed.

Looks good from the outside. Interior will be telling IMO. Front sightlines seem better, but side and rear seem the same. It will be interesting to see where the weight falls, what engine it gets, and how quickly they get a 1LE replacement ready. Definitely some good competition for the Mustang.

"Suck it Mustang" do 12 year olds write for C&D? Yep it looks like a Camaro.

The only thing that could possibly improve forward visibility based on those photos is them having sunk the outer portion of the hood near the cowl, but it still doesn't look any better. The rear and profile greenhouse is even smaller, proportionally speaking.

I want to like it but it just looks like an immature design.

Yeah, I saw that. Pretty crass headline for supposedly professional magazine. And kind of laughable since it's still got tons of camo on and we know nothing about its weight, specs, or interior.

As for the comparison to the Scion, yes it looks similar, but keep in mind that the piece splitting the grille is probably part of the camo and won't be there when it comes off. There's less camo now, but still quite a bit. I would still like to see the actual car before making a judgment. I personally don't think it looks that bad.

I still haven't sat in a new Camaro but I can't imagine that visibility is good at all. I have read much to the effect that it is indeed crap. I would have hoped Chevrolet would have addressed what seemed to be a large concern with the current model but they didn't. They do have sales numbers over the Mustang to justify continuing forth with similar design.

Over all, I prefer the S550's fast back over this Camaro. I do however prefer the front end of the Camaro, current and what appears to be the evolution in this newer car. To me, the front clip of the 2013/2014 Mustang was the best in over 40 years.

The front clip and the hope that Ford changes it in a few years are big factors in holding out.

That and the knowledge that in a short time, there will be so many of them on the road that I will be able to get a decent used one at a great price.
