  1. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Ford may consider that mirror "frameless", but it's clearly got a grey frame around it. Gotta love marketing...
  2. Top 5 New Changes to the 2018 Mustang

This. A swing and a miss there by Ford. Hell it's even standard on the Civic Type R now.
  3. 2018 Mustang Automatic Dyno at JDM Engineering

It's a Dynojet - now if we get those figures on a Mustang dyno....:eyebulge:
  4. Anyone considering an Ecoboost needs to listen to this

That GT has the adaptive exhaust, it's the car he used in his review - and based on how it sounded in its different modes in that video, it's clearly on its loudest setting here. That V8 would sound absolutely epic in my underground garage - but it may just give some poor senior hobbling over...
  5. Anyone considering an Ecoboost needs to listen to this

...it may change your mind: [ame]
  6. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Fleet preview guide indicates that the LSD is now standard on all models. It does not specify Torsen but I can't see why that would change.
  7. No reverse mirror tilt?

Anything that helps with near-distance visibility/sensing helps. It's impossible to see much of the periphery of the car from the driver's seat. And while the Mustang may in some sense be considered a sports car, people forget how long it is - at 188" in length it's over a foot longer than an...
  8. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Swing and a miss not linking the nav into that 12" display though, it's a no-brainer. And if they want to stay feature competitive with Chevy, Ford needs to add a HUD, and rev-matching to the MT GT.
  9. new AutoExpertTv on 2017 Mustang

Guess who won't be invited to Ford Australia's next test drive junket....
  10. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Mustang market penetration must be far, far higher in Dallas than Toronto - any Mustang is a rare sight here, I see way more Audis and BMWs - Mustangs (and Camaros) are nearly as rare as Porsches. No chance of the rims getting stale here.
  11. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Blacked out door handles would also be a nice custom touch. Not too sure about the hood vents, though - if I could see them as black blobs on the hood from the driver's seat I don't think I'd want the visual distraction.
  12. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Ironic that Ford would go to the trouble of putting a blackout package on their show car and then spoil the look by sticking that silver license plate blank on the car - WTH? Other than that, looks good except for those cheesy vents on the hood. Looking forward to seeing it at the Toronto show...
  13. My thoughts on the 2018 after seeing it in person

Personally I'm willing to sacrifice a little of the front end aggressiveness if the tradeoff is better forward sightlines, so that the first piece of pavement seen in front of the car is not a half mile down the road. No improvement made to the rear visibility it seems - too bad. Could not...
  14. 50th Anniversary 2017 Shelby Super Snake Unveiled!

Did they drive them through a screen door prior to the photo shoot? Because there are big pieces of screen mesh stuck on the front grills....
  15. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

 Who the hell signed off on this POS? Ford must have picked these vents up at a Pep Boys clearance sale....
  16. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Liking a lot of this, but the refresh is missing a couple of things that competitors have already introduced: - auto-blipping for the MT - ability to bring the nav screen into the 12 inch display (never mentioned or shown so far, so very unlikely) - HUD Not happy with Ford giving up...
  17. Official: 2018 Ford Mustang Refresh Detailed! (Options/Features, Specs, Photos, Info)

Great catch. Maybe the 4700 RPM engine speed hints at a 470 HP figure? I know, wishful thinking....
