I've had mine on for about 3 weeks. No CEL or issues so far.

My "green" cats blew apart in 5000 miles. Yes, CEL comes on eventually in MOST cases.

I had a CEL within the first few hundred miles. Added spacers and no more issues.

The pcm cat test is only performed at steady-state low-load. It usually happens within the first 5-10 minutes of driving, not at wot.

Which model Green/GESI ?
looks like he is FI by the sig and ET. If thats the case its no suprise the cats didnt hold up. I think is generally a settled issue that FI should go uncatted. If am wrong than I want to know what brand LTH and cats as well. My Kooks came with Greencats and generally hold up and flow very well with NA set ups. I may pick up a set of the spacers just in case. Theyre cheap insurance. My OCD wont allow me to drive around with a CEL on all the time.

I’ve researched and tested the issue more than any sane person should. My conclusion, right or wrong, is that stock cats that use ceramic substrate usually fail due to thermal shock. Many aftermarket FI tunes run lean with low timing at wot and low rpm, which is a recipe for thermal shock. Add to that, cool-down periods before dyno pulls and drag runs and you made it worse. Every failed stock cat I’ve seen has a cracked monolith, which is evidence of uneven heating not overtemp. Conversely, the metal substrate aftermarket cats fail from high sustained temps or inadequate mechanical attachment of the spiral. I believe these CAN be pretty good but not all are. Even with the best attachment they still can’t sustain the temps as well as ceramic. The yield strength of 304 goes down to basically nothing at 16-1700 deg f.

Green and or GESI catalytic converters are manufactured by Performance Industries in Coppell Tx. (Now Synergy Catalyst) for the Canadian company GESI.
GESI owns the rights and the EPA approval stamp to P.I. Mantled cats.
I believe the HJS Tri-wound cats are still the best in the industry but as Mike points out, supercharged temperatures are destructive.
Most people will choke at the HJS Tri-wound price points……
