whats everyone have theirs set to? I was going to try 1 turn from full soft F/R initially.........
I plan on doing mine right in the middle. So 1.25 turns from full soft and then maybe another .25 turn. I prefer a bit firmer ride in my car.

Mine shipped from TireRack finally. Anyone with an EB that has installed them care to share your driving experience? Which springs are they mated with? Most importantly is the bounce gone? Thanks!

Thanks to David@Steeda for the hook up on the prices. I received my rears only Thursday. I also ordered new rear mounts, bumpstops, and dust boots from Levittown ford so I wouldn't have to disassemble the old shocks. Purchased front struts and steeda camber plates last night can't wait to get the front handling matching the rear.

I used a small unibit that went to 1/2" and it went thru like butter. Installed on the car this afternoon with the initial settings at 1/2 turn from soft.

Just came back from the test drive various back roads and open highway. The rears are definitely much firmer than the stock front struts. The rear seemed firm but very well controlled and made the front struts very noticeable that they are not controlling the springs as well as the rear shocks, the front kind of porpoises over bumps in the road. I would recommend doing both fronts and rears because of the way it makes the car handle. It is not bad but i could tell when pushing the car that the front needs better dampening.

We're these in stock when you ordered? I install my Koni's next Saturday so I need the parts before Friday if I can:thumbsup:

I'll put this link in here for those doing springs at the same time.

Also we have to cut the jounce bumpers or replace them with the Ford Racing ones, right?

Just got back from a post-install drive down the local twisties. Car handles great (the sticky RE71R tires dont hurt). I drove a bit on the highway with all 4 set to medium, and a bunch of spirited twisties with the rears on medium and the fronts on full stiff.

On medium the fronts are nice and compliant but no bounce. On stiff the front end is responsive yet smoothly controlled, not sudden. Full stiff is a bit much for the factory PP shocks over rough city roads but its a lot of fun on smoother back roads. I think I only need about 3/4 stiff for spirited driving.

I slotted the front strut bolt holes for extra camber (which is how we had tweaked my factory PP front struts. Worked fine.

i nees to jack up the rear and try everything on soft next.

These Konis work at least as well on my PP GT as the previous Konis I've run on Miatas and an E46 3-series. Good stuff.

I have my front set at about 1/2 full stiff on the front and just a little bit off soft on the rear. It gives the vehicle a very good feeling driving at the limit. We will see what I end up doing after some autox

Anybody know what thread/size the rear shock nut and front strut nut are? I need to buy them to finish installing mine since I know the rear is different than stock, not sure about the front. Are they 12mm fine thread and 14mm course thread? Please help?
