I got a email back from them yesterday stating placed orders should be shipping out within the next two weeks. 🤞
@LethalPerformance

Confirming what Mike said.

With Kinetik sold out, I was looking into going the FFRE route. I had a couple questions I wanted to confirm first (wanted to confirm which bolt for GT350) but no dice trying the phone and no dice on getting an email reply. Found out Lethal had been trying to track them down as well with no luck.

I called Kinetik today to check in like Mike said and they answered the phone right away. Said they were about done with manufacturing. He just needed to get a batch back to the shop to check/test a couple things and then package them up. He said check back or check the website right after the Holidays should be good to go.

Got my stud yesterday. No brainer, it's a pretty cool piece. It's the quality in the little things that matter to me. Great packaging too. Also important. They even include a small packet of the ARP lube and an instruction card.

How necessary is one of these? I have an ESS kit making ~600 if that makes any difference
I'm sure someone will chime in saying ESS is the safest kit in the world and that you don't need it.

I mean ESS shouldn't since it doesn't extend out the crank like procharger does but what do I know

Any crank driven boosted car should run one of these. I have had my Kinetic Stud on my work bench for like a year now...probably not gonna help much from there.

You know the old saying; "You Don't know what you need, until you need it?? Racing and building cars will always be a chance taken, roll of the dice so to speak. All we can do is try to minimise the damage from when these occurrences happen, and they will!!!.

I have my FFRE stud kit on standby to be installed along with a new balancer when I tear into the front of the motor. It arrived packaged nicely with instructions right on the bag.

Are these made to the same spec as Kinetic?

Honestly, the FFRE kit looks identical except for the washer. The washer in the Kinetik kit was significantly smaller than stock. Soo much so, I was paranoid and triple checked to ensure the washer dia was big enough to sit outside the face of the pulley. It does, but it does not fill the wear pattern of the stock washer. That washer in the FFRE looks mucho better and wider. The stud and 12 pt nut look the same.

@NGOT8R Can you take a stand alone pic of that washer out of the bag for us? Thanks.
