I posted on the FI forum. It seems all the kits make great power but have traction or other issues.

I m planning to get a basic 6mt GT with performance and recaro packages, then install Ford Racing handling package.

I would like to ask the collective wisdom here if I can do bolt ons approach to reach 500ish crank HP (plus lightweight flywheel if available).

My plan is to have a fun street toy, won't be a daily driver, but dislike rough drivability either. Wondering if anyone has been able to achievethis. Thank you in advance.

Forgot to mention I need to stay on 91 octane CA piss gas

There's a ton of threads on this already. Bolt ons, tune, E85 will get you there.

Without going FI, here's some good mods.
Full exhaust, CAI, intake manifold, throttle body, cam, tune.
That should do you good.
I plan on going this route as well.

500 at the crank is probably just CAI, full exhaust, tune. Plenty of cars at 450-460rwhp with JLT, ARH, and remote tune.

I forgot to mention that I want to stay with 91 octane California gas. Thanks

Since you are in California I would install a carb approved supercharger and have fun.

I would go, intake, throttle body, carb approved shorty headers (for California emmision reasons) with cat deletes ( put cats back on for emissions test if needed/ easy swap with Shortie's), x pipe, new exhaust, 47lbs injectors, aluminum flywheel, dual plate clutch, lightweight pullies and a tune. Get some suspension upgrades and good rears to get all that power down to the road.
