KAM RESET HELP

Hi All
I have a 2020 Mustang Bullitt.
The engine hasn’t been running that well. It runs ok but feels a little sluggish, exhaust sounds off, louder engine noise and it stumble and jerks a bit on low rpm’s.

now when I do a KAM reset it will run perfectly again until it learns new trims etc and goes bad again.

what could be causing this ?.
Any experiences with what May be happening.
I’m suspecting a bad a sensor or something.
Could someone help to point me in the right direction?.

Thanks for coming back to me

car has 31,000kms.
No Mods except a Tune.
Had the car in stock form too and it does the same thing.

no codes what so ever.

the Engine just feels a little sluggish. The exhaust note doesn’t sound crisp. It still pulls ok but their is a difference in power and torque when it’s running well after a KAM reset. The exhaust changes too to a more crisp sound.

also at lower rpm’s it feels like it’s surging a little and when decelerating and going again it will stumble a little. I can feel the surging when engine braking foot of the Gas decelerating.

after a KAM reset it runs perfectly maybe for about 4 drive cycles before it goes rough again.

also engine sounds louder than normal when running rough.
also when running bad I can hear the intake whistle more than normal too when accelerating.

Also one thing I do notice when running rough is that when decelerating foot of gas at higher speeds I the car seems to slow quicker than normal and it’s jerky and when I put the foot on the gas I will get a stumble.

Ged rid of the tune and see what's going on than.
Maybe it's a bad canned tune.

Yeh already tried that.
Runs the same in both stock and tuned.

could it be the VVT solenoids ?.
Or would this definitely throw a code ?.

I never trusted KAM resets through a tuning device. Disconnect the battery leads, touch the neg/pos together for 10 seconds, let sit disconnected overnight. Try again with the stock tune.

I'm convinced the PCM caches A LOT of garbage that needs to be purged.

Any whistle sound would be a vacuum leak. The extra air would disrupt fuel trims and cause
some of your symptoms. I would make sure the throttle body is clean.
