My Mode Help

I've scoured the manual (which is not very good BTW) and cannot for the life of me figure out how to set Mode. For example if I wanted to set sport + engine exhaust but have comfort steering and TC on, can I do that? I know it defaults back to normal every time you start the car.

The car is ALWAYS going to default to normal mode, unfortunately. So if you want to always use 'MyMode', you'll have to hit the mode button only twice for that, since it's the first mode in the list (first click is to invoke modes, and the second is to select MyMode). Now, as far as what you can program in MyMode, you're also limited to 'approved' choices. Make all the changes you want with either the dash buttons and/or the pony button, and then go to MyMode on the menu, click on 'status', and you'll see your current settings. If you like them, just press the 'OK' button until it's stored, and that's what you'll have when you click on mode twice either before starting the car or after. If you want the louder cold-start, you need to turn ignition on before firing up the engine. Or you can do it immediately after.

I noticed that if you select 'track' exhaust mode, it automatically turns MagneRide to hard, so no way to separate those 2. And similarly, I believe you cannot have comfort steering in sport mode either, as another example. But the only way to know what you can and cannot do is to give it a try .

Thanks! I know what defaults back to normal mode every time you shut the car off. I did not know about the clicking twice toggle thing though. And I also noticed you cannot adjust setting engine separately.
