So I discovered something new about the issue today that may help narrow down the cause.
I was driving the car now and I was in second gear in too low of a rpm and the engine began lugging and it was making the noise and the pedal was vibrating non stop. This shows me that it is not related to...
I just checked my window sticker and the power train is still under warranty. I’m going to take it in to the dealer and see what they say. Hopefully my aftermarket steeda tune doesn’t screw my over and lead to them voiding my warranty…
On my way home today my 2019 bullitt all of a sudden started vibrating through the pedal and making a grinding noise from the transmission whenever I get going out of first or reverse. It shifts gears fine when driving nothing strange there. Now when I let out the clutch and creep forward the...
After work today I noticed some damage on my front splitter. Not sure what happened. It’s going to need to be replaced. Anyone know if ford sells just a replacement bullitt front splitter and what that part number is? I’m hoping the splitter is a separate piece from the front bumper…
So just making sure I understand correctly…
1. Sand down around the spots the solenoid screws will be going
2. Mount the solenoid
3. Put the other wire terminal ground on the same screw that mounts the solenoid sandwiched between the car and solenoid
4. Touch up with paint any bare metal that’s...
I think you misunderstood, I’m talking about the screws that mount the starter solenoid itself, as those ground the solenoid. From the factory, they are just screwed into the fender apron inside the engine bay
Doing a wire tuck on my fox body mustang. I relocated the starter solenoid and now I have to make new holes for the screws that mount it which are also where it grounds. The problem is that people told me just putting self tapping screws in there will not be enough. I was told I should grind the...
Not my proudest moment, but I screwed up and got too close to the garage wall when pulling in. Is this fixable? It’s just on the machined lip. About how much am I looking at in repairs?
So what would you guys do, replace just the front two or all four? I know I should probably do all four but these tires aren’t cheap and I don’t see how it could be a problem being as though the front and rear tires wear at different rates and usually end up different anyway. What do you guys...
Hm I see ok good to know, thanks Jim. Just curious, if there’s no wiggle room for the camber to be adjusted, how did it get screwed up over time if it has no where to go?
So the alignment shop will not be able to fix the camber unless I get the camber plates or bolts??
It’s just a street driven car, no tracking and it’s stock ride height, just steeda spacers all around
Ok, hopefully the alignment shop can get it sorted out.
my rear tires still have some tread in them. Is it ok to just change the front two tires for now or should I do all 4
Never noticed anything weird when I’d by driving my car but today I had it parked with the tires turned and I noticed on the inside of the drivers side tire it’s completely worn down. I checked the passenger side front tire and it’s fine. See the picture below. Any idea why this happened? It’s a...
