Just bought 2017 GT 350

I just purchased a used 2017 GT 350 last Friday. Really nice car. What do others do to mount a front license plate? I live in Maryland and the state has a front plate needed requirement. I do not want and probably will not mount one until I am stopped by State Police and told to install it. I plan to keep the plate in the trunk as proof that I have one if stopped. I do not wish to drill any holes etc in the front of the car.

I keep mine in the glove box. Fits well and I do not have to exit the vehicle if a cop wants to see it. That said, networking with other performance car owners at the local Ames Ford cars and coffee day, no one has been stopped for lacking a front plate in my area in many years.

I know the DoT has lobbied for the requirement to be removed by the state legislature here, but it has not been 100% successful yet. I think they let up on classic cars.

Never stopped in Northern Virginia for front plate. Don't run one on the GT350 or the Raptor they are just plain ugly. They love to stop for illegal tint....

I purchased this earlier this year. Takes a matter of a few minutes to install. I rarely have my plate on, but it’s a safe measure to have on and you can always tell the police you forgot to put it on after you detailed your car. I’ll leave the plate in the backseat. Because it’s black, against the black stripes it’s barely noticeable.

I also have the 302 license plate bracket. I want to avoid any unnecessary interaction with the cops, so I keep my front plate on. Doesn't look too bad in my opinion. Kind of breaks up the GT350s goofy lower grille grin.
