The weight of my trailer fully loaded with my GT350 and all my gear is about 6,000lbs. I have a general rule to never go over more than 85% of the max towing capacity, especially if you're towing up and down hills, or driving long distances. So a truck or SUV with a towing capacity of 7,500lbs...
Does anyone know of a profession vehicle inspector near Austin? I'm looking at buying a used truck located in Spicewood, but since I'm California I need someone to conduct a pre-purchase inspection.
I use a set of these lift pads that attach to the pinch welds.

Get yourself a Daytona low-profile long-reach floor jack from Harbor Freight. I use two and they work great!

As HB said using the vacuum method to refill the cooling system is best. I use this tool to create the vacuum and refill (you will need an air compressor also). OEMTOOLS 24444 Coolant System Refiller Kit
To drain the coolant I use this: JOHN DOW JDI-6EV 6 GALLON FLUID EVACUATOR It doesn't get...
I have the Airlift refill tool, and it works great for refilling the coolant and checking for vacuum leaks, but it does not work to drain the system. I finally got a John Dow Fluid Evacuator from JB Tool (JDI-6EV) and it works great for any type of fluid extraction (oil, coolant, trans fuild...
If you've been to Buttonwillow Raceway then you know the long tree-lined driveway from the road to the gate. Access to the new track will be from the same long driveway on the right (west), so essentially the same property.
The track was scheduled to be open by now, but multiple delays caused...
I was there too! Ditto to what FresnoGiant said, good times, glad I attended, sad it ain't coming back.
I talked briefly to one of the instructors and seems like Buttonwillow's track schedule for 2023 is so busy there's just no good dates to hold another Driver's Clinic. Maybe they'll bring...
I installed my MMR brace kit a few weeks. I agree MMR could have done a much better job of engineering to account for the brackets.
Best solution was to remove the bracket and cut it to fit the MMR brace, also replaced the included bolt with a longer one.
Dragoon, that's a super setup you have. I agree with you, using a F250 (or similar), plus a really nice light weight 24+ foot all aluminum trailer would be best, but that setup is going to cost $100,000 minimum, and may not be an option for OP.
A F150 towing a light weight all aluminum...
Do not, I repeat do NOT load your car backwards on the the trailer. If you load the trailer with more weight behind the axles than in front of them you will get a crazy amount of sway, and at highways speeds this can cause you to lose control of your tow vehicle. End result will be a very bad...
What's your price point?
If price is not a concern then go with a 24ft all aluminum trailer like the one WoodburnGT posted (beautiful!). A 20ft enclosed trailer is really tight, especially if you want cabinets or plan on hauling extra gear (wheels, tools, equipment, etc). Also, a 20ft...
Whichever helmet you select I also recommend a HANS device.
Personally I like Zamp helmets. No not as flashy as some of the name brands but all the same safety features at a lower price:
