I have one on a 6m pp with a canned sct 93 tune and I love it. Much more fun, instant throttle response after shifts. No lay down in between.

had this question today, so I thought I'd clarify for you guys.

If you buy the box only, it comes preset and cannot be adjusted. If you opt for the $20 switch, you can adjust the sensitivity of the pedal.

Not everyone is the same, and it's a nice option for those that aren't sure where they want to be.

To clarify, the non adjustable one does come with a plug in pill to reduce it from 100% to 60% boost. If neither suites your fancy then you would have to buy the adjustable knob add on or buy it with it from the start. I will say I am very happy with 100% and have no trouble with low throttle surges or anything like that. It just gives crisp throttle response.

I think I'm going to try this. Maybe the slow throttle response is what I'm feeling between shifts and why some times shifts feel weak.

So basically if you just train yourself to punch the throttle harder, you have the function of this $300 gadget?

I'm working with JMS to get the latest version of this module; for some reason I was shipped version 2.1 instead of 6.1. I'll test your theory lol

For me this has to do with driving enjoyment. I give input and the engine reacts. I don't know about training to drive with a lazy throttle. Maybe its not as noticeable for you auto guys. Just keep in mind, aside from power shifting there is no way to get the response between manual shifts that the pedalmax provides. You could work with a tuner to retune the ecu for quicker throttle response instead. I chose this because it allows me to control it independent of reflashing the ecu. If I want more or less I can adjust it myself without getting a tune update. It simply works really well and is totally worth the money IMO.

Auto is annoying in a similar way. Combine the throttle lag with the computer deciding if it wants to downshift or not, it makes for a crummy experience if you need the power immediately.

If you decide to use the paddles to downshift while still in D (full auto) because the car takes to long to downshift, sometimes it'll downshift two gears causing the car to redline in 1st. Happened to me once or twice.

I ordered a Pedalmax from JMS directly, hopefully it'll be here soon, and I'll just stop being lazy and drive in S. Should cure most of my issues. I should've just saved the money and got a manual, but oh well.

I have a automatic premium gt with cai , mbrp race cat back and a sct tune. Anyone install this on a auto and if so do you recommend it.

I have had mine on since October. The throttle is great. I had a sporty drive the other day to work and 2014 5.0 pulled next to me and wanted to play a little. Wasn't even close. I was a lot faster off the line no lag.
