JMS PedalMax

So I think my issue might have to do with me switching back and forth between my gutless jeep during the weekend and then getting in my GT with the wife after my Pedalmax install. I could tell it was different just by the blipping the gas pedal, but she got mad and made me drive like a schoolboy. Luckily she only rides with me once in a great while, lol. Today I got on it like always, problem is after driving my jeep all weekend my car feels great no matter what, but cant really say it feels any greater. I'll install the knob that way I should be able to tell the difference.

If i understand it correctly setting the knob to "0" puts it back to factory settings, can someone confirm? Thanks.

I just installed it yesterday -first impression is it feels like I installed shorter gears - much more responsive off the line. Feels like a more powerful car, though it isn't, just because of the immediate response. I have the dial and can easily feel the difference turning it off/on.

First of all, this doesn't change how much power the engine makes nor does it change actual throttle response.

Second, they select driver demand tables/pedal maps through a variety of customer clinics, benchmarking activities and general experience for what it 'should be'.

Just installed my Pedalmax with knob (set @ 100%) today. As per directions checked to see if green light is lit. Green light is on, however also the first red light closest to green in blinking. Is there a problem or is this normal operation? Can someone confirm that there pedalmax does the same. Drove it & hell yeah it makes a big difference.

Just checked forums on JMSchip.com & found this interesting info.

PedalMax Diagnostic Test LED Results – All tests were made with the: Key ON – Engine OFF (LED’s are listed in order)

No Knob and No Chip Installed
Pedal stock – Red Off, Red Off, Green solid
Pedal 50% – Red Off, Red Off, Green solid
Pedal 100% – Red Off, Red Off, Green solid

With Red Chip Installed
The second RED LED results show that the RED Chip is GOOD
Pedal stock – Red Off, Red blinks slow, Green solid
Pedal 50% – Red Off, Red blinks slow, Green solid
Pedal 100% – Red Off, Red blinks slow, Green solid

With Knob Installed and set @ Zero
The second RED LED results show that the Knob Output at Zero is GOOD
Pedal stock – Red Off, Red solid, Green solid
Pedal 50% – Red Off, Red solid, Green solid
Pedal 100% – Red Off, Red solid, Green solid

With Knob Installed and set @ 50%
The second RED LED results show that the Knob Output at 50% is GOOD

I was considering doing a intercooler and performance tune (waiting on ford racing), to be honest though not really looking for more huge hp and torque just better throttle response at times.

While Pedalmax give my car (given the info above) what I am looking for?

From what I understand the Ford Racing tune has been released in Australia but is being held up in the states because California hasn't approved it yet for emissions.
