Full review with pics coming. Just gotta get her back from the dealer: getting new pads, rotors and exhaust manifolds.

Has anyone with a Whipple tune installed this?

Beef, I know you said it's not needed with a tune but with Whipple tunes being made from the stock file I wonder if they change throttle response?

Very curious about this.

My car has been in the shop for a week getting the Lund tune installed and all the datalogging done. Hunter (boosted4life) said that the pedal max was causing some shuttering at wide open throttle so he had to disconnect it. Something to think about. With the roush tune it worked flawlessly so I'm not sure the difference. Maybe the Lund tune is more aggressive with the throttle response and its to much voltage with the pedal max to the throttle body?
If I had a non tuned mustang this would be the first mod on my car it really did make a huge difference and that was on a premium car with a phase 1 roush tune and blower.
Anyway, just wanted to give an update.

Bummer. I wonder if this would work on my Whipple tune. If you would like to sell it please email me.

Base GT PP with exhaust and suspension mods, no tune yet. Installed pedalmax this afternoon turned it up to 100 and I'm enjoying the more sensitive throttle that's for sure. Pretty big difference in sensitivity from off to 100 via pedalmax. Wonder if this more aggressive throttle curve is what sport mode is like on a premium? I read that some people assumed that the last bit of pedal travel would be "Dead" do to the throttle body being fully opened prior the pedal fully to the floor. I don't feel this is the case.To me it feels as though the first portion of the pedal travel is noticeably more aggressive than stock, and then it begin to taper off to more directly correspond with the throttle pedals travel. Aggressive but Linear. I dunno just my opinion. I like it and makes the driving experience a bit more fun, while I mull over who's tune and what parts will be going on in the future.

your car is so brutal I don't see how it could hurt my man..:headbang:

in the event it doesn't suit your needs I'm sure you'll find a buyer. At least that is how I looked at it. Most the shitty reviews I've browsed over have been from people who have no first hand experience with the unit. Fairly popular on vette forums too.

Enjoying mine after installing yesterday. Definite improvement over stock pedal feel. Even in shitty Arizona heat right now, did not feel like a slug taking off. Little more wheel spin leaving neighborhood on first trip installed and nannies off.

No. I've got a premium auto, and normal mode feels like it emphasizes fuel economy over performance. You'll still get the performance, but it's not gonna give it to you right away. Sport+ feels slightly more responsive, but the car is much more aggressive with its shift points and what gear it's in at a given speed. The characteristics of the driving modes are still present with the pedalmax, it's just that your power is delivered at less pedal travel.

It's kinda hard to explain.

I can't speak for Manual driving modes, as I haven't driven one yet.

I am interested in getting this product. Here are some questions I have.

I have an auto. I don't like sports, sports+, or track because of where I drive most of the time. I drive in the city most of the time. In these other drive modes, the car feels jerky whenever I slow down or release the gas pedal to a cruising stop. The computer wants to put the car into a lower gear so that when I accelerate, more power is gain quicker (at least that's what I assume). While that's nice, I hate that the car jerks when it switches to a lower gear. I prefer the smoothness of normal mode.

But the throttle response is so slow in normal mode. My question is this. Will this product improve the throttle response in normal mode AND maintain it's characteristic? Meaning, will the throttle response improve without having the jerkiness of the other modes?

I like how smooth normal mode is when I slow down or let off the pedal. I don't want to lose that if my throttle is improved with this product. I might as well stay in the other modes if that's the case.

Last question, does this product affect the mpg? I assume it does?

Thanks.
