Now that my longtubes are installed, I am preparing to place my order for a ported Cobra Jet intake and the other required parts. I currently run JLT catch cans on both sides and no issues with that other than I would like to go with valve cover breathers (similar to the below picture) when I am on the Cobra Jet setup. Obviously, I will be getting re-tuned for the Cobra Jet intake but I may switch to the breathers now on the stock 2019 manifold. Does switching to breathers require a tune update or is it as simple as install the breathers and plug the now vacant ports on the manifold and intake pipe???

Thanks.

I ran dual breathers on my 14 GT cobra jet setup and run a single breather on my 18 GT passenger side. No problems (no updates) nor messes on either. Fyi.

Works just fine until you add boost. Then it will piss oil all over your engine bay. Use a breather catch can setup instead. No shmeg in the intake, and no oil vapor on your engine if you decide to go FI later.
