Jacking rail advice

A bit O/T, but do the newer gen 'Stangs have a spare wheel well large enough to fit wheels we actually use? In my airport episode I used, for the first time, the semi-full-sized spare wheel discussed elsewhere on this forum (the one that will just barely fit in the spare well; the hell with the 'gunk and pump' Ford gives you). I had to drive over 80 miles on the spare, which did affect handling and wondered what it's doing to my LSD.

As my flat was a slow leak--some pressure left after sitting for four days--I would have pumped it up and driven on it, had I had a compressor (now I have one).

I use the Steeda jack rails, and added the subframe braces. Good combo. I now have a Quck Jack, and the jack rails make placement of the QJ easy.

I got the 7000TL, which works well for my '18 350R. 2 feet of lift. But I had to buy the extenders for my C8 because the lift points are further apart.

I'm now also in the market for jacking rails or "something" to support the car while working under it. I've been using jack stands under the cross member in the front and the suspension "cradle" in the rear. But ... recently I was trying to lift both front wheels and the car fell off the driver's side jack stand while I was jacking the passenger side. I still don't know why the car fell. All I know is that it did. Fortunately I wasn't under the car when it fell. I was jacking. I did have to scramble out of the way when it fell. I trashed 2 new scissor jacks. I also had a h3ll of a time getting the driver's front off the ground after it fell. The driver's wheel was removed when it fell. No damage I could detect. But it is humbling.

Scary stuff right there. Just the fact that you had to jump out of the way….

TL7000 quick jack works well and is stable, takes me 15 minutes to get them in place and the car up in the air. May sell them and go 4 post so I can store GT500 on top and keep the 2015GT on bottom.

I'd LOVE to have one of the hydraulic or electro-hydraulic lifting systems. They look GREAT. But they're beyond me. Scissor jacks and jack stands are expensive enough. The jacking rails may be the only practical solution.

I'm also considering the RennStand style Jack Stands. These are also a little pricey but it allows me to use them on multiple cars. The jacking rails I can only use on the car they're mounted on. I'm a little wary of the RennStand stands. I'm not sure if they're as stable as a traditional square base jack stand. I don't see any way to use both the RennStand and the traditional jack stand together. If I thought I could that's probably the solution I'd pursue.
