I bought the ZL1 Addons/GSIM Aviation units.

They seem okay, but I really wish there were snap-in pucks like I have used on my Corvettes. The latest ones I used on my C6 and now my C7 snap in and stay on. No matter where you are, you have your pucks with you.

Maybe there is another solution similar to this and i missed it, but I did see yesterday that BMR has "Jacking Rails" coming. I will probably buy them if they are priced right.

I would assume like all of BMR's products, they are priced very reasonably and a good value for the product.

Ford very conveniently put threaded bosses in just the right places to bolt in permanent jacking pads. Unfortunately people wouldn't pay what it would cost to make these in small batches.

908ssp, I agree. We passed on that design already. If we knew the market would accept the price point, then we would make them. We are making some other aluminum parts though, that are pretty sweet. ;)

Just an update. These are our pre-production Jacking Rails for the S550. They are a little bit different than the versions pictured above. More area to utilize, and the pads are designed to hold the weight of the car on stands, or a lift.

Unfortunately, the body pan is angled....so of course, it made it somewhat harder to make it a simple piece. So, we designed a box (very strong) to mount to the fore and aft portions, then use a box tube to connect, that is flat/parallel to ground.

I am very happy with these. I tried to keep them as light as possible, while being very strong. These should be popular pieces, especially for the handling crowd.






And yes, they will be offered in Black Hammertone. We know not everyone wants red under their cars. ;)
