Jacking locations

Does anyone have any pictures of the jacking locations. I have a two post lift and not sure where to position the arms too lift this car. Don’t want to do any damage to the side skirts

I would go with a set of jacking rails. They save your pinch welds. I have Steeda low profiles on my GT350. I have not had the car on a two post lift yet, but I did confirm with Steeda that they can be used with the two post lift. They are short, but I think they now makes longer ones. Another benefit is they are fantastic to use with a floor jack because you can lift the whole side of the car.

^^^ What Neal said. I have the full length Steeda jacking rails and I just put the floor jack in the middle of the car (jacking rail) and lift the entire side. I plan on getting a hydraulic lift but have to do some modifications to the garage door opener first. Personally, if you have a 2 post lift, the jacking rails are not the best option. The pads I showed in my previous reply work the best. They magnet to the pinch weld absolutely anywhere you want it to and provide a flat surface for the arm pads of the lift. They also give you an extra 1-2" of height off the pinch weld, which was great for when I was installing carbon fiber side skirts (or similar projects). If you are using Steeda subframe braces like I do, the jacking rails are even more pointless because the braces mount to the rear of the car where full length rails need to be rendering them useless for rear lift points.

They aren’t bolt on, don't add weight to the car, do not damage the car, and do not get damaged themselves. I tried jacking rails in the past, and believe it or not, you are limited in some way exactly how to position the car to get the pads exactly where you want them.

Jacking rails are great when using a jack, no doubt about it. If you track your car, and need to jack it up when away from home get them and deal with them on a lift. If like me you are using a lift 99-100% of the time, get the pads instead. If ever you needed to use a jack, you can still use a pad anywhere on the pinch rail to get it done as well. Best of both worlds for people with lifts in my honest opinion.

Yup, jacking rails are great for the majority of people. I might have used them if I didn’t have a lift. I’m sure they will come in handy for you. By all means try them with your future lift, they may work better for you thank they did for me. I think the pads are perfect though.

Turns out, I didn't need them for the QJ either, Jaime but I left them on for now. I found that I prefer to use the rubber blocks that came with the lift anyway to avoid the metal to metal contact.

There’s other jack points too for front. Right next to Kmember, the rear part of the k member where it’s bolted to body, I like to get as wide as I can on a two post so it’s stable and I don’t have to worry about it wobbling.
