Just buy an older Ford jack that has a flat top. I bought one off a EBay wrecking yard. Fits under the spare tire, works fine with jacking rails. Current style 2021 has a raised notch that works only without rails. You need one with a flat level surface

I kinda get what you're saying, but a scissor jack isn't unsafe at all. For what reason do you need to get under the car to change a flat? Just keep your hands clear of anything that can fall and I don't see the problem.
