Is this normal? does it suppose to move or stay solid?

Brake pads that are incorrectly sized/shimmed can definitely cause an audible noise in the cabin. I saw this so many times back in my technician days, when someone did their own brakes at home, and omitted a shim. The pad will tap or jump up and down in the caliper bracket every time they came to a stop, and again when moving from a stop.

In the case of the Brembo calipers, there is no shim, and the pads are in direct contact with the caliper.

I had a Kia Stinger with similar Brembo calipers, and ordered some aftermarket brake pads from Friction dynamics. Sure enough, the outer dimension of the pad backing was 1/16" shorter than OEM, and the pad would click or tap on every stop or go.

Differential mounting. Rip and replace the bolts, shim the hole and install the Whiteline puck-style isolators.
So you're saying this is the bushing on the diff mount? Or are they literally just bolts/nuts that hold this spot down?

My 2022 Mach 1 is getting clunking noise when decelerating and braking. I am suspecting its cause of this but I am not sure. Not sure if its suppose to be moving like this or stay solid.

Thanks in advance

My guess it's a bad ball joint in a control arm. It will make a clunk noise when hitting the brakes. You can check it by getting the front end of the ground and use a small pry bar to see if there's any play in control arms.

The bushing is made out of dish wash sponge and the bolt hole is wrong by 2mm. There are kits for replacing bolts and shim the hole and also kits for bushing lockouts to minimize risk of future breakage.

Thats just gross negligence. I was assuming the op didn't have that particular problem though.

Indeed, and they (Dynamic friction) argued with me about it, even after I showed them pics with a micrometer that their shit was incorrect.

This is why I asked if OP had the OG pads on there. Your point about the diff bushings is a good one, they do break even with normal use.

I was as well. It's a '22 Mach which is supposed to have pretty good brakes,
right? I have trouble believing the OP has modified them but who knows?
He certainly hasn't been back to answer questions or acknowledge the replies he's gotten.

What's happening here is the sides of the wheel studs contacting the bores in the rotor as you try to rotate the hub. These two parts are no longer clamped together tightly when the wheel is removed. The brake pads have enough friction to hold the rotor still and when you move the hub, the studs make contact. Perfectly normal. Put the wheel back on and you won't hear this.

There is no bracket on the Brembo fronts. Or shims. The pads make direct contact with the caliper.

Are those the OEM brake pads? Are you sure the wheels were torqued to proper spec?
Yes the wheels are torque to spec 148-150 lbs

Got it, I will check that out. Thank you for the info

Any click noise you can hear from inside the cabin while decelerating is not something small like rotor ring shift or pad slop. It's more likely to be bad tie rod bearings, or loose lateral link, loose damper upper mount - is this an hp with dealer installed camber plates? Or bound or broken swaybar endlink
This is an HP with installed camber plates

Then I would start with making sure they didn't screw it up. Is the shaft nut and sandwich tight? Are the 3 top bolts tight?

I just checked the 3 top bolts, they are torqued properly to 46 lbs. The passenger side were little under, I torqued all to 46 lbs. I doubt that the issue, but will see when I drive again.
The camber plates are installed properly, I did checked when I installed FP springs. I installed spring more than 3k miles and no noise whatsoever until now.
I am suspecting it might be the endlink that making the noise, I will need to make sure its torque properly

There most certainly is.

There's been shims/backing-plates on my 2016 & 2019 PP Brembo pads.

You can clearly see them in this video;
