Second screen shot is only pulling .6 and .4 degrees at 75 and 78. It does like something is causing it to pull back to base timing in a zig zag manner.

I'd look real close at your headers

Yes that is pulling 1 degree from 93 to 94 adding .5 degree at 95 and adding 1 degree at 99.

I don't see anything out of whack.
Okay so all of my runs have a small amount of knock throughout the runs. This is normal you are saying? Appreciate it

I'm not saying it's normal, just not enough to worry me. What I don't like is it is adding spark then immediately pulling it.

I defiantly would send these logs to PBD and let your tuner look at it. He knows how his tune should act.

Doing that right now. Will keep the thread updated on what I find!

I like to see steady spark could you post with just the spark advance hilighted?

Like this, bottom graph white line just pulling spark on gear changes. I have now fixed that.

I cannot load the CSV into VCM scanner for some reason. I may need a hpl log or something. Here is a screen shot and my actual log.

I think you are seeing false knock. It looks like he set it up to run 30 degrees spark and it should be steady.

There is a lot of retard at the hit tells me when the engine tilts over something is hitting.

Yes please keep this updated I'm still on the low end of a steep learning curve.

Thanks for attaching the actual log

I think I know what's going on here. I'd like to see just knock vs rpm.

Spark should be ramping up in a nice linear curve relative to RPM. I'm not a have of all the sauce at once.

No on E85 you can add all the advance as early as possible since it won't knock. Kind of an old school way of doing it but it works well. If this was a dyno tune and the shop has the proper dyno they could tune MBT at several RPMs. The increase would not be much.

On distributor motors we would have full advance in by 2300 Rpm or so

What I think I'm seeing in the log is the engine moving in its mounts and hitting something.

Will be interesting to hear what PBD says about it.

OP said he tried 25psi, spun some, then tried 17.5psi but didn't do any better.

MT site recommends 14-18psi for those tires at the track.

Passenger side has about 1/8th inch of clearance from hitting frame. My steering shaft I tried denting it and still only ended up creating a washer sized gap from steering shaft. I also upgraded to steeda mounts

Still could have dropped them more.

I drive around all the time on stock Michelins barely over 18.

any lower TPMS doesnt like it.
