I am seriously looking to buy a 2015 Ecoboost Mustang as my daily driver with some appearance modifications here and there (Yes I mean the light bar too xD)
TBH I had serious intentions of buying a base Ecoboost with the Performance Package. However, thinking back, I feel as for the use it will probably have, the PP will probably never be used to it's full potential. Now I'm thinking of buying the Ecoboost Premium. Any thoughts? I really loved the black 19"s

What makes you think it's not worth it for daily driving? It will be my daily driver, and with the 3.73 I'm hearing is better for daily driving. It might depend if you drive a lot of highways though.

I had the same plan with the GT right up until the day I ordered. I decided going premium was more important for my purposes than the PP. I know mine will never see the track and comfortable seats was a must have for the daily commute.

The only thing I'm missing out on is the black wheels. Those can be had aftermarket for less than the cost of that PP.

To each his own.

Well technically I drive about 30 minutes at 75 on the highways everyday to get to class.

And Wingzfan. That is pretty much what is going on in my head right now.

It depends on your driving habits. You don't have to drive the car at the limit to realize the differences.

The PP isn't a track package. It's a sport road driving package. It's definitely not going to be as rough a ride as the 1le is with a track suspension. I think it's worth getting even for a DD.

Exactly! Everyone has an opinion and preference. And, of course, everyone's price point is different. It's about what makes you feel good about the purchase. Bottom line, you'll have a Mustang! Enjoy it!

Agreed. My point is that if you have a price point that you want to stick with, you have to determine what your priorities are and which options will give you the greatest enjoyment out of your Mustang.

Thanks for all the responses. Hopefully I can take one for a test drive soon. The dealer here is selling the new Mustangs as soon as they arrive at the dealership so it is almost impossible to test drive one here. :(

I don't care for the wheels too much, and the summer tires that come with it are a deal breaker for me. Plus i don't think ill ever track the car, and when the time comes to do some suspension mods ill look to the aftermarket.

Wasn't a hard decision for me; leather, bells, whistles I can live without. PP with standard tranny was a must have. All about what you want.

If u like to drive in circles all day then go pp. If you want a faster car in the quarter go non pp, pp extra shift to 5th.

well
let me put it this way
in europe we are going to get the pp pack as Standard (we cannot even get the cars (ecoboost and 5.0 without it (we will not get the v6 at all)). some european car magazines have already had a test drive in pp and non-pp cars.
and:
they considered the non-pp cars being TOO SOFT
another Thing:
we can go 155mph on the Autobahn (the 5.0 will be limited to that Speed) and we do not get the rear deck Spoiler and we do not get the Hood heat extractors
this makes me think
a lot ot this "PERFORMANCE STUFF" must be "MORE SHOW THAN GO".
so: if you do not go to the Limits daily (and you probably cound not without getting arrested) save the Money or invest it in comfort items
