Hood, at least 1 fender, frame damage, bumper, bumper support, a headlight, probably ar least one of the radiators, suspension, a wheel, maybe the front door, at least 2 airbags, plenty of hidden damage..

I've seen YouTube rebuilds of salvage Mustangs with almost that exact damage. So I'd say yes, it's likely totaled.

If you don't exceed 9k then it won't be totaled otherwise say goodbye. Start taking your aftermarket parts off

In most States, if the damages exceed 72%-75% of the ACV of the vehicle, then the car is totaled.

What did it hit or what happened resulting to getting that amount of damage?

If you have aftermarket items installed on the car, unless you had a rider on the policy that covers such additions, your Agent won’t give you squat for aftermarket parts... remove them as stated.

Even if the car is totaled, you still have some options...

You can get the payout figure from your Ins. Co. and if it’s fair to you - AFTER getting that figure they will pay out - ask what it would cost to buy back (keep) the car. Usually they will quote scrap value. So say hypothetically and using completely round fake figures - they were going to pay you $10k initially, and scrap is $2k. You’ll keep the car and get a payout of $8k... Then you can either repair and keep, repair and sell the car, sell the car as is OR part it out... See where that is going? You’ve already banked $8k.... and can get more $$$$ on top if you opt to sell or part out the car....

If you have the space and can afford it - if it‘s totaled, take the payout, tell them you want to keep the car and then decide how to deal with the wreck afterwards if you want to bank some more cash.

i still owe on the car so what ever the ins co gives me goes to my finance company and a car hit my front fender causing me to wipe out and hit the eway barrier

Unfortunately, I'd say yes its totaled. Considering multiple airbags deployed :( Sorry this happened!

It all depends on the cars acv or actual cash value they usually total the car at 75% of the acv. Like other people have told you if it totals you have the option of keeping the car. I wouldn't even begin to guess if the car is a total with out seeing it in person and knowing the acv. There is a chance of hidden damage that's the main reason for totaling it out at 75% of the acv. It also depends on your insurance companies policy how they like to handle things. Acv can be determined by the red book and the nada book or it can be done by computer If I remember right that's called CCC. They take into account mileage and any old damage not related to the accident.. Good luck in whatever happens. I wrote comments on this because I used to be a auto damage appraiser.

Not to get off subject.. but... your seats look worn, stretched, and dingy. Are they stock show stopper seats?
