Hello. New to the forum, I haven’t been in the performance game in about 15 years. I always played around with foxbodys and Lightning’s back in the late 90s and early 2000s

I have been tossing around the idea of grabbing a s550 for while now.. back in 2019 right before the pandemic I almost snagged one..

Right now the dealership has yet again almost the same exact car which has me itching again..

I’ve been watching YouTube videos since 2017 on them, and amazed at the power these guys are pumping out of them.

if I do jump and pick up this car I want to know how hard it is to get a bone stock one into the 11.90’s

joined the forum to see if you guys think I can get into the 11s with

bone stock tune
Borla cat back exhaust
Steeda stop the hop complete kit
Weld racing wheels all the way around
305 radials
Aluminum drive shaft (I have heard they make an annoying sound? Never had a issue with my foxs or lightnings, anyone know if a video I can hear the annoying aluminum driveshaft sound?)
Ford racing beefing half shafts
Back seat delete (deleting the seat the second I get the car, it’s useless to me)

i completely understand a tune and 105 octane could get me there, but I don’t have e85 anywhere in the state. And by keeping it stock I don’t have to worry about losing my warranty

otherwise I’d add the JLT intake and tune it for 105

many advice on where I should post this question is greatly appreciated, thank you for your time

Hey! I live on the Mississippi gulf coast and I'm new to the site but not new to mustangs. I previously owned a 2012 gt premium supercharged 5.0 6spd. The car was very fun and I have missed it ever since losing it in a flood. Fast forward to now and I finally had the opportunity to grab another mustang! Even though I have owned a stang before it seems all the new gadgets are gonna take a little getting used to for me lol.

Hello Everyone!

Picked up my first Mustang last year, a 2020 California special, just found the forums and wanted to say hello. I have no plans to modify anything at this point, just enjoying the car.

Previous ride was a 06 335I

Uhhh. You can get banned for saying that. Even Josh knew to leave the option open to mod.

Howdy!

I'm Jason & live in Ohio. I recently picked up a 2022 GT in Cyber Orange and wanted to find a new community to participate in since StangNet, TheMustangSource, & GrabberOrange.net seem to not have much participation anymore. Historically, I've had 4 other Mustangs and currently own two.
  1. 1965 - 200 6Cyl - Vermillion Red
  2. 2003 GT - Dark Shadow Gray
  3. 1965 - 289 V8 - Pony Interior - Springtime Yellow (own and is in process of restore)
  4. 2007 GT - Grabber Orange
  5. 2022 GT - Cyber Orange

Yes - Me too! It was a hard pick for me with the 2022. The Antimatter Gray seemed really close to Dark Shadow Gray and I liked the 2007 Grabber Orange which is super similar to Cyber Orange. In the end, the Orange won as I couldn't find an Antimatter GT Premium around here.

I'm Jeff in the San Diego area. Picked up my 2018 GT Convertible from a private party a couple weeks ago. Flew to Vegas and drove it home. I definitely paid a premium but feel like the car is exceptional. Only 20K miles, PP1, 401A, A10, Active Exhaust, MagneRide, Smart & Safe, Shaker Pro, and it was garage kept. I am a Ford guy. I have had at least one Ford truck in my driveway for the past 35 years (current is a 2019 F250 Platinum) and a few Ford cars. I have always wanted a Mustang and a convertible is a must for me. Recent fun cars have been a 2000 Miata, 2015 Miata, and a 2016 4 Series Convertible. Loving the Mustang so far. It sounds awesome, is comfortable, and handles better than I expected. I took it out on a twisty road I often enjoyed in my Miatas and it far exceeded my expectations.

Miata’s are fun cars. But there’s just something about an American V8 that sounds so f’n amazing.
