Hey, Julie! Welcome to the club! I hope you are able to blow off some stress around here. There seems to be plenty of that, as those of us who ordered between May and July are slowly getting our orders filled. You'll come to love and curse COTUS.

Congrats on the new ride! Sounds like it'll be a good one.
Thanks, Old 5 Oh! Nice to meet you!

Well, at least you did it up proper!

Congrats, you're going to absolutely love the car.
Hehe, yeah, I wasn't messing around with a project car - may as well get all the goodies I could right out of the gate. :)

Since you have yours already (lucky!!), how does it sound? I loved the magnaflow on my old stang, but have only done one test drive of this one and am curious about the sound it makes once you've driven it a bit. Thoughts? Sound properly tough with stock exhaust? Should I alert Santa to check out the aftermarket exhaust scene ...?

No offense meant to Frankie (my car), but he's downright mellow. Aftermarket is a must. I'm leaning toward the StainlessWorks H-Pipe Cat Back myself. I was thinking it would be best to wait until Spring since it adds a good bit of punch when you update the exhaust, but I don't think I'll make it that long without some noise.

Figure this is the place for a first post. Hi!

Nice to see a few people from the great northwest on here.

I've never been a car guy, but after seeing this new mustang by happenstance, I'm quickly learning all I can.
Finally got the opportunity to test drive this amazing machine today...wow. It was everything people are raving about on here and more. I feel like I'm 5 years old again and it's Christmas Eve. Going to be a tough wait but well worth it!

Congrats and welcome! Did you order? Christmas came today for me, and I'm feeling pretty good about it.

Yup! Pretty loaded GT Premium in Guard. Was torn between getting a manual with pp or the auto with 50th. Since I'm probably never going to drive on a track and most of my driving is in town, went with the auto.

Thanks, souprmage. I expect I'll do the exhaust, too, at some point. :)

Hi, my name is Alex, and I'm from South Florida. I hated the 2015 design at first, I thought the previous generation model was perfect as-is, and I didn't like the retro-futuristic design of the '15 at all. Then I saw one in person. That pretty much changed my mind. Now I want an EcoBoost Premium fastback, Guard green, with the performance package, enhanced security package, automatic (can't drive stick), and the BLIS thingy.

Hi, I'm Jim from the great Pacific Northwest (Oregon). My first Mustang was a '65 coupe in '65 (I'm 70). I've owned 10 mustangs over the years. In my current stable is a '11 GT California Special with the glass roof, '66 convertible and a '65 GT Fastback (there all driven). My '15 was ordered on September 17 and an EDD of November 30. It's a GT premium fastback, 401A, AT, ESP, Adaptive Cruise Control, Reverse Park Assist, Navigation, and 50th Anniversary Package. I'm really looking forward to the new stang with all the new options.

Jim

Welcome! Quite the stable you have there.

The new one is a bit different than the others, but I'm sure you'll love it.

Well, been lurking a while, time to introduce myself. I'm Mike from WV. I was 14 when the Mustang was released. I fell in love immediately. Begged my dad to trade for one but he couldn't afford it. 25 years later, finally had my first Mustang, a 90 LX 5.0. Pretty nice. Decided it was time for another, so sold the 90 this summer. Planned on ordering a 15 base PP in January for spring delivery. Talked to a few dealers to try and find a good one. Stopped by one about a month ago to see when they would have one. They said a few weeks. Wanted to know how I wanted it equipped. Told them Race Red, base, manual PP. He said they had one coming just like that but Ruby Red. I said naw, I want race red so I will plan on ordering one. He said" hey, I'll change the color for you." So he did. Called yesterday and told me my car was in, but he had bad news, owner wouldn't take X plan this early. So I stopped by to look at it, man did it look badass in person. Manager apologized and I told him no sweat, I'll just order on in January if they will take x plan then. Owner came over and apologized again. Stood there and shot the bull with the owner for 20 min, he was a gear head. Shook his hand and told him I would be back in January. As I left, I stopped to take a couple of pics with my phone. The manager came out and said come on back in, the owner liked you and said to give you x plan. So I picked it up tonight.

It sucks they put you through that hassle to get an extra couple grand. Glad they finally came to their senses. Congrats.

Hows it going. Im Casey currently stationed in Oak Harbor Wa, moving to PA in MAY. We just picked up a 2015 50th! Couldn't be happier with it. Just reenlisted yesterday for six more years and this is my stay navy present. My other vehicles are a 2007 F150 and a tired 1985 Mustang GT.(85 is for sale;))

Hi Folks,

I have been watching the forum for a while now and thought it was time to introduce myself. I'm Kleiman (Jason). I had a 2002 Mustang GT a long time ago and recently bought a 2015 Mustang GT PP. I actually had no intention of purchasing a Mustang, I was in the market for a Hellcat, but it was taking too long. Traded in my SRT8 Charger for it. I bought the first Mustang from Capital Ford in Raleigh, the morning after they took delivery.

Good to meet everyone.

J
