I’ve recently registered with the forum and looking forward to participating with the Mustang community for several years.

I ordered a 22 GT Premium 6 speed manual in Eruption Green. Ordered it with the 401a package, performance package, active exhaust, MagneRide, 19” wheels. I don’t think it is going into production until mid February at the earliest, I’m thinking delivery at the end of March. I’m on the fence about the MagneRide. Not going to track it, and will not be my DD.

In November of 2016, I purchased a 2017 base GT manual in Grabber Blue. After only five thousand miles, I traded it in as the car was just… missing something. I always missed that car though. Flash forward almost five years exactly to the day, and due to a trade in offer I couldn’t refuse, I ended up in this. 2016 GT Premium, manual, Performance Pack, 401A, and Ford Performance Power Pack 2. This is the car I wish my 2017 was, and it feels great to be back.

Hi, I'm James. I'm in Indianapolis. I've followed along these forums for a while now, but finally took the plunge and created an account today. I've currently got a 2015 Ecoboost PP in Ruby Red. Previously, I had a 2003 Mach 1 in Torch Red. I'm saving for a second car again, as I always had at least 2 cars before selling the Mach. Even after 3.5 years, it's a weird feeling (1st world problems, I know). My hope is to get an 8 cylinder of some sort, likely a "special" trim. Thinking 21/22 Mach or a GT350. But we'll see. Anyway, looking forward to connecting in the forums and here are a couple pics of my current Stang.

Greetings!! Will take delivery on Saturday (tomorrow) of a nice 2017 Ruby Red EB Premium convertible. Has 27k on it and seems to be in excellent condition. I've been looking for a "fun" car for a long time, and finally found one that was not a ex-rental with a ton of miles. According to CarFax, this is one owner, from here in WA state. Test drive was fine, except for an issue with the Sync 3 navigation ... the maps never moved, even after a power off/on cycle with the door open. Everything else seems to function OK. I've had a lot of recent Fords (and our primary vehicle right now is a 2020 EXPLORER ST), so I'm pretty savvy about Sync 3's quirks. I did get a written commitment by the non-Ford dealer (CarMax) to get it fixed before any signatures/money changed hands, just in case.

Not planning any mods, per se; I'm more interesting in returning it to "showroom" condition and keeping it that way. It'll probably see very limited use in the winter but I'm looking forward to the spring/summer!!

An interesting factoid that makes me smile - in 1966 when I got my first driver's license, my folks had a 1965 Ford Thunderbird ... the first car to ever have sequential turn signals. It was a red Landau with white trim. I"ll smile every time I make a turn in our red 'vert knowing that it also has sequential signals!!

Cheers!!

Ken

Hey all! I'm brand new to the Forum, but not to the world of Mustang. Over the past 20 years I've been lucky enough to own a 2001 V6, a 1995 GT Convertible, 2005 GT Convertible, 2008 GT/CS, and as of this past Friday, a 2021 GT/CS! My first foray into the S550 world.

Hey everyone, I’m rwolf from Kansas, 15 years old and new to the forums and have just gotten into the whole Mustang thing. I have prior experience with older ones (currently restoring a 65 coupe) but am new to the s550 generation. I wanted to buy a 2018+ after I got a job in tech but decided to get a 2017 GT because of pricing and some safety stuff, I don’t need all that power as a younger person. I need to take some better pics with my real camera but here’s my Ruby Red Metallic 2017 GT
