Jim, from Texas & Japan. Retired military & still helping them out. Also, when I'm in Japan, work part time at a small parts supplier for NISMO & TRD. Too bad Ford Racing isn't near one of the bases I help out, I'd hit them up for a job.
Took notice of Mustang with S197 intro, later became Coyote fan but decided to wait for next generation in hopes of IRS. Now finally ready to buy S550.
Planning to follow Boss ('13) route w/ '15 GT PP/Recaro base by adding exhaust, headers, tune, adjustable coilovers & adjustable swaybars, 2pc rotors & high performance pads. If I give up on Boss plan or just need more power a whipple supercharger.
Currently driving a tuned R32 Skyline GTR in Japan & Chevy Silverado State side. Not interested in Ford vs Chevy vs etc... thing. I think Z/28 rocks, just not my cup of tea. To me, Mustang says tuner car and that's what I want.
Great work on the forum. Lots of useful contributions so far. I've enjoyed reading for months.

Welcome to the forum.... where in Texas? I am also retired military , just retired this year. Used to live in Japan when I was a little kid from 76 to 80 @ Kadena AFB, Okinawa then came back to Texas for the long haul.... my dad worked for corporate AAFES. Anyways, pretty obvious I've been around military all my life, lol. Once again, welcome!

Hi Brian here...I just sold my 2013 Ford Focus ST to order the 2015 Mustang GT. Loved the ST but always been a Mustang guy and will be glad to be back in a stang soon! I have worked as a Ford Technician for 23 years and proud of it. I work on my customers cars as if they were my own and am great friends with many of the people that walk through the dealership door. It will be an exciting day when my '15 rolls in on the transport! Thanks guys!

Hello I'm Kris from York,Pa. Member of a lot of forums, but heard about this one from my salesman Jeff at Yocum Ford. Ordered my fourth Mustang from Jeff last Friday and I'm trying to wait patiently. I still own a 1965 Wimbledon White 289 V8 Coupe and I've owned a 99 DSG GT and currently drive a Black 2005 Mustang Vert. My current car has got me involved in the car show circuit and forums. Met a lot of great Mustang friends over the last 6 years and hope to meet many more. My Dad has owned about six Mustangs and my younger brother is on his second. Mustang runs in the blood and I'm glad to be part of such a great heritage.

Hey everyone been watching these forums for a while now and finally decided to jump on in. Excited to see some of you guys beginning to receive your Stangs. I myself own a 2000 GT and plan on ordering a black gt with pp and redline recaros. Just waiting a little longer to order so that I don't have to take delivery in the middle of winter. Went to my local ford dealer just the other day and was told if I ordered now I could expect for around March. So I'm figuring I'll wait until end of November/December and hopefully get it April/May. In the meantime at least I can live through you guys on the boards here..

Thanks for the welcome. I live near Baytown on Houston's east side and southern Yokohama near Yokosuka. Okinawa is beautiful. I enjoyed visited there a few times. My first duty station was on NAB Coronado. I remember Seabees from ACB1 were fun to hangout with. Thanks again.

Yeah... I know those guys ACB 1... yeah, I remember going to the beach all the time there... I also remember that restaurant up in the mountain that is made out of a 747... I don't know if it's out there anymore... such a long time ago... I miss the Bees already but the cutbacks are hell and getting worse so I think I picked a good time to get out... all the other guys I have spent almost 15 years with are retiring and finishing up their careers now.... time flies lately... so hopefully 17 years to see my retirement wrist be too bad... I just gotta survive...lol

I also own a C7 Corvette and Chrysler 300 SRT8. Might be getting rid of the C7 now that I have the Stang and it's maybe more fun to drive!

Well I'm just getting used to the car, so maybe it's that is just different and alot cheaper... My C7 is in the shop getting headers and an A&A kit. I'm going to keep it as long as I can afford it. So while I was serious, I don't think it'll be any time soon that I get rid of it...
