hello, james here and I wanted to say that through research chasing for the new mustang I landed here. seems like a decent group folk on here. this is my only outlet as I am in Kuwait working and will not be at home when the new car drops. so I find myself chasing the design just like for the 05 and the 10. currently have a 12 Shelby, previously a 08 tt500 and a nasty little green 93 coupe, if anyone is interested google major firepower and you can see the article. also had an Aston Martin vantage that I recently traded in for my wife's Audi q5.

side bar, I know there are a lot of enthusiastic fans here which is great however I am on the side we are getting a mustang I I or a probe. scared that what we have seen just does not give me the mustang feel. worst part of the c&d pictures is the way the rear quarter window terminates, Chaz' rendering is much cleaner and looks like it flows.

I look forward to watching it all unveil here and to spark the devil's advocate at times. do not have any pictures to share nukes I can figure out how to do it from my iPad.

My name's Brett, and I live in the FAR far northern wilds of Canada, in Whitehorse, Yukon (a town that inadvertently wound up with a significant place in Mustang history, btw...).

I was born about two weeks before the original Mustang was introduced, so I've long felt a bond with the car. It's been exciting to see it get better and better in the past decade, and I've started saving pennies to have one. Soon.

Last June, I was taking my daughters down to Vancouver Island to visit my folks. Figured a convertible might be fun, and when I got to the rental counter, the clerk smiled at me and said, "For just $10 more a day, you can have a Mustang GT..."

Like THAT was a hard decision. Got to spend a week with my dream car. It was even in my favorite Sterling Grey color and had the Brembo brake package. I spent the entire week thinking "I HAVE to have this car...". I took down the VIN to keep an eye out on fleet sales (it only had about 1,500km when I turned it in; I doubt it will be up for sale that soon). I kept asking myself "do I need it to be BOTH a convertible AND a GT? Could it be one or the other?", and I've firmly concluded that it absolutely HAS to be a GT convertible. Period.

Much as I loved driving that '13 GT, I'm excited about the S550. Lighter, nimbler, with IRS (finally!)... and the 'Stang turns 50 just a couple of weeks after I do. It's a tempting prospect. Bring it on!

Hi all, Frank here. Been loitering long enough figured I should sign up since we're getting close. I love the site, it's exceptional. All the great material here and coverage of this car is unlike anything I've seen in the Mustang world. Also like the good friendly environment for members.

Anyway I'm Looking forward to 'meeting' some of you soon-to-be fellow S550 owners if all goes according to plan.

Hi, I'm Mike, and I have been a Mustang addict since before I had a drivers license. I have been looking at information on this site for a couple of months, trying to keep up with the news for the new Mustang and eager awaiting it's unveiling. I live in Tennessee, I have a black 2003 Mustang Cobra convertible with trans issues. I am 31 years old and have had 7 Mustangs total, and don't expect my current one to be my last...

My name is Jeremy and like Mike, above, I've been a Mustang addict since I was 4 years old. I've never owned a Mustang and have always wanted one, but it's never been financially in the picture for me.

My obsession started in the spring of 1989. I was 4 years old, as alluded to earlier, and my mom had been saving cash for months to buy her car. She drove to school to pick me up one day in a black '89 25th Anniversary GT, with black leather interior and a pony badge on the passenger side dash. We were not people of means, and that was a huge purchase for her, one that she paid completely in cash.

10 years later she would end up buying a 35th Anniversary '99 Mustang V6, again, black, but with black cloth interior this time. I was supposed to take over payments when I got my drivers license and it was supposed to be my first car, but unfortunately, and unwisely, the first time I drove it out of town, I fell asleep at the wheel and totaled it. I was fine, but the car was a complete loss. I ended up with a 1994 Ford Ranger 4 Cyl that was registered for 80 miles an hour and wouldn't have done that if you'd dropped it out of a helicopter.

I loved my little Ranger though, at least it was a Ford. I drove it throughout high school and it took me to and through college. Eventually it broke down and, again, struggling for cash and needing something with 4WD, I bought a used Nissan Frontier, my first non-Ford vehicle. But even then I was pining for a Mustang. For graduating college, my Grandfather gave me a 1959 Edsel Villager and a 1969 Ford Torino CobraJet, both of which I had put in many hours of work getting them restored to sell.

The good news is, I've been saving for the past few years, and now that I have an excellent, stable job and a great wife who understands my obsession, and I will be buying my first Mustang once the S550 launches. Black with Black leather interior. I'm very, very excited about it and check this site every day for updates. I wanted to say that I really appreciate all of your posts, and I'm glad to share your enthusiasm!

I live in Australia and have admired the Mustang for as long as I can remember, from 2015 we will be fortunate enough to get our hands on the new car which will be great for us local enthusiasts.

Cheers.

Hey guys, I'm Chris.
Live in the DFW area and drive a 2011 GT.
Tour with a TX band half the year and tinker with the car and house the other half.
Figured I'd finally contribute to the site considering I obsessively check it every day for new material haha
Excited about this new Mustang. Change is good!

Hey guys, I'm Josh. I've been a mustang enthusiast since I was a kid and have always loved them. I've had a 2003 GT, a 2003 SVT 10th anniversary Cobra, and a 2010 GT. I love American muscle and the sound of an all American V-8.
