Greetings everyone, I'm Warnerwh and will be picking up my 3rd Mustang Gt premium. It's a 2017 GT/CS with 30,000. Looks like a garage queen which is what I had been looking for. My first was an 1983 1/2. Will pick it up Tuesday after going for a drive it goes to the garage. I look forward to learning about this car because I will be servicing everything whether it needs it or not.

Hey everyone. New to the forum. I have a 2021 Saleen white label number 13. I just purchased the beefcake stage 2 P1X procharger kit for it. Looking forward to doing the install. Will probably make a thread on it when I do it.

Hello, new here. I have had a 1968 Mustang 302 (in 1973), a 2008 Mustang GT 4.6L and now a 2016 Mustang GT for almost 3 weeks. They have all been well built cars. I wish I could have gotten a 2018 to complete the series, but the cost was prohibitive. I was not sure I wanted the first year direct injection either. I have read on all direct injection engines there is a problem with carbon build up on the intake valves. Not sure what you can do about that with direct injection. I must say that this 2016 has gobs of power and torque... so unlike the 2008. I have yet to floor the pedal! Really enjoying the 6 speed manual as well!

Welcome!
Not sure how much carbon buildup is related to direct injection. I do two things to keep my engine clean(er). I use top tier gas, and have installed a oil separator catch can.

Before direct injection, the fuel was sprayed on the back of the intake valve, so that kept the valve clean. Of course, direction injection does not do that, so....

I also use only top tier gas, and I hope the fact that the Gen3 has both port and direct injection will keep the valves happy.

G'day Guys all the way from Sydney Australia thanks for the invite, unfortunatly my 2016 is in pieces atm it did have a stage 2 whipple but i removed & sold the kit as the big plan was to build a twin turbo set up which now im regretting, anyway that life. Maybe one day I'll get motivated & start on this build. Thanks Joe

Greetings, all - Found this forum researching a recent issue with Pepe' - my '17 GT Fastback Premium C/S and got some good info here. I've been a Mustang fan for well over five decades and finally pulled the trigger on Pepe' - kicking myself for waiting so danged long. Bought her new and 100,000 miles later I'm still grinning hearing that Coyote start growling in the driveway.

At my age, still a proud member of the Three Pedal Mafia - more smiles per mile and if that often-damned MT82 goes south I can do the swap work myself.
