Spider House, You sure you don't have GT premium with the Performance Pack?
I know things are different in the UK, but if you have heated and cooled seats I think that option only came on premiums. Do you have leather seats?
The wheels I'm seeing in your picture look like Performance Package wheels. Do you have the window sticker?

It has leather seats yes, heated and cooled, those stripes you see (apart from the orange I added) and the Spoiler. There were 2 stickers on the car when I bought it, one was a "made with pride in Flat Rock" and the other was for a ceramic treatment which I assume was done when new (Nov 22). That's all I can see.

Not sure if there is a code that can be checked against the VIN mumber? 🤔

Yes all UK cars come standard with the PP and in premium spec. We can only add metallic paint as an option. There are also Mach 1's, Shadow editions and bullits.

There's a few differences though, our wheels are slightly narrower on the pp cars and the engines are down by about 20-30hp because of the different exhaust manifold having to clear the steering tube. The oil filter/cooler and engine mount is completely different and to my knowledge no UK cars have the BBQ tick like the US cars, maybe because of this? And unfortunately we have massive side mirrors unlike the nice slim US ones.

Spider house, I love the MK1 GLX, cool car! The headlamps are beautiful in the face lift. I have a GT with a 302 V8. The Mustang is quite a similar feel to the Capri.

I remember reading somewhere that the UK Mustangs all have the Performance Package upgrades, maybe minus the Torsen differential.

Cant seem to get photos to upload, will keep trying, maybe its because on on my phone?
I've had similar issues. I don't know the phone or browser you use but when I use the Samsung browser, I have difficulty uploading pics, but if I use the actual Google Chrome browser, it works.

Yeah, biggest regret moving her on.. Would have been better to get rid of the wife at that time rather than the years I suffered afterwards before we split. Ha ha
Share pics of the capri pal?

Coming Soon: Gen 6 Mustang GT
Hey everyone, I'm Vic out in Houston and I'm getting back in the Mustang world after a long hiatus. I've previously owned a Fox 5.0, three SVT Cobras - including a Terminator - and a 2006 Mustang GT.

At the moment I'm looking to purchase a Gen 6 Mustang GT but I'm still questioning which options I want on the car.

Either way, I find the performance potential of the Coyote engines extremely exciting, and I'm equally excited about getting back in the saddle and having fun modding Stangs! Look forward to having a good time on here as well.

Hey all, just picked up a 2016 GT PP after 10 years of not owning a Mustang (had a SN95 back in high school).

I wanted a new toy to work on since I get bored of builds pretty quick. Picked it up at the closest dealership to my house 7 miles way.

Plans for the car are a street-able track car since I miss going around turns after selling my Porsche 991 street cup. Yup, a Mustang was the next best choice to get a $30k car that can be made to handle “decent”.

My current lineup is kind of bonkers so bear with me this car is definitely going off the deep end.

My other whips include:

And can’t forget to include my Porsche which is the inspiration to build another track toy:

Hi everyone,

New member from sin city. Decided to stop by the dealer to look around. Wife sees a rapid red convertible, GT, MT with showstopper red/black interior. 2021 with 11k on the odo. Then I notice larger tires on the rear and Brembos. Had them print up the Monroney sticker for the specs. Blam car has PP and 401A package.

Immaculate car inside and out, the interior has just the right amount of red and black. The car is hers not mine, a 61 yr old grandma that like to drive around in sport exhaust mode. She giggles with the rev matching and we traded in her 2017 Si.

One surprise is the 2021 5.0 is cost less to fully insure at $100/300k full coverage that her 2017 Si.

No pics of interior yet.

Hey all! So excited to call myself a first time Mustang owner. I had a major test of patience in my search of the right car and landed this immaculate 20k Mile '16 GT/CS.

1000006675.jpg

I've been fortunate to rotate through 3 performance cars in my garage over the last 25 years, an '05 GTO, and two GNs. The LS2 was great but the GNs LM9 and LC2 engines are so finicky, need something new but didn't want to go back to the 2000s for another GTO or TA. Thanks to Kendrick Lamar (although not my kind of music) putting a GNX on an album and what I hope was just a black regal on stage at the Superbowl, I enjoyed a nice little spike in value that signaled it was time to move on. Moved the GN on BaT and pursued a GT for a few months and landed with this one.

It took me a couple of weeks to figure out the bolt ons like Steeda bracing in the front and rear and the Corsa Extreme cat-back. The reverse lockout boss was cracked on the OE shifter assy (helped me squeeze the broker for a better deal). So, I already replaced it with the complete Steeda Tri-Ax shifter assembly before I fuck the trans up. It had a Blowfish trans mount that I'll probably move along. I didn't like the NVH from it.

Still learning more every day.

Thanks!!
