Awesome. If you're looking to get your radar detector out of your way, along with the cable, I recommend getting a mount from Radar Mount! It also comes with wiring to power it from your mirror.

I have the R8. Has definitely helped anytime I'm out driving by telling me which direction it's alerting for. As said above, K-Band is pretty much useless but whenever it chirps, I'm on the alert. Also, the radar detector plus using Waze for GPS is awesome. I use Waze for the longer drives.
