Quick intro:
Picked up a 2019 GT Premium; 401A, Perf Pack 2, Active Exhaust, B&O. Ruby Red Metallic, Black Interior.

This is my second Mustang, had a 2009 GT Prem. that I sold in 2014 for an Audi S4.

Overall initial ownership impressions, this is a lot more car than the 09 was. Build quality, fit and finish are really good. Coming into this form a 2014 Audi S4 (generally regarded as having an amazing interior) I have no regrets about this car from a build quality, fit/finish and driving feel perspective.

Love the agressive stance PP2 provides and the Active Exhaust is a must have option.

Some crappy phone pics:

Will try to get some better one's this weekend. Going to go into the North GA mountains for a cruise with the wife on Saturday

Are you going to have the PP2 splitter put on?

Yes, getting that put on this Friday. It came nicely packed up with the car. I picked it up on sunday and there were no tech's around so they got me an appointment to bring it back in during the week and have it installed.

I've heard some opinions of folks not liking it but I like the look of them and hopefully they provide some additional aero as well.

Nice! I think it looks great! I had it added to my PP1 car. I like that itā€™s really thin so it doesnā€™t reduce ground clearance too much. Still, watch out for parking curbs!

New member here. Picked up my 2020 Velocity Blue GT with 401A, 6 speed on Sept 17th. The amount of gadgets in this car compared to the 2009 GT I traded in is off the charts. Still breaking it in, can't wait to have some fun in this thing.

G'day All.

I am new to forum and have jumped on board to educate myself about the current model Mustang. A bit about myself. I used to work for Ford, in manufacturing, and have owned 20 Fords. The last being a heavily modified Black edition FPV GT. Basically an Aussie Falcon based model with a supercharged coyote engine.

In 2014 I switched brands to Audi and have owned a few. I am now driving a 2017 TTRS.

I did check out the Mustang in 2017 when they brought the rhd version to Australia. Then it did not do a lot for me, but something about it attracted me. More recently with the release in America of the GT500 I have started looking again. Unfortunately the GT350 and GT500 are not available in Australia. We get a premium performance type spec level GT in 5.0 and ecoboost.

I started looking and Roush have a local agent. I got a ride in a 2018 Roush Jackhammer and was quite impressed. It went hard, handled pretty good and sounded great. The cabin quality has improved and the tech level is pretty good too. They, Roush, offer me an option in Australia, to get a blown Mustang with warranty. This and the fact I like the look of them, make it quite appealing. I have seen some polarising views on their products but I don't have the luxury of a choice like you do in America, re: GT350 and GT500 products.

I am seriously considering a RS3 spec Roush in manual. I have read a lot about the 10 speed but the manual appeals to me more. I am awaiting SEMA as I believe Roush will have another product in the offering.

I am going to be going through this forum and trying to learn as much as I can about their products and options etc.

I am keen for anyone to offer advice.

Cheers

Jason

As this is a Mustang Forum I wont upload a pic of my current ride but will instead place a pic of my last ford being my 2011 GT Black Edition.

Hi Guys,
Greetings from Melbourne, Australia.

I am the lucky owner of the factory-supercharged Falcon FGX XR8, the last Aussie Ford V8. But, I also now own a very neat and tidy 2016 manual GT with 2,500km on the clock. Roush kit, lower springs (25mm/1ā€) and Koya 20ā€ wheels, with 255ā€™s front and 295ā€™s rear. Also a new SS header-back Borla exhaust. A very spirited beast, I must say, goes pretty hard with 500rwhp.

Still retained the sleeper-look, very happy with that. A few small mods coming very soon, first would be doing the Roush stage2 upgrade to go 670->727hp on the flywheel.

A couple of pix below, I will post more elsewhere later. The last photo of my twins.....who says Heaven doesnā€™t exist?

Cheers,
Beano

Beano interested to know your thoughts a Roush Mustang compared to your XR8. I used to own a Black Edition GT. Now looking at a Roush also.

Hi ladies and gents, I'm Steven, from South Carolina. New here and just wanted to introduce myself. Still figuring out this forum and navigating around it. I'm the proud new owner of a 2019 Mustang GT California Special in Kona Blue. My second Mustang, my first being a 1991 LX back probably 10 years ago. So far I've only tinted the windows, and added a Corsa Xtreme cat-back. Wednesday adding a JLT CAI, and taking her to Pro Dyno here in SC to have her dyno tuned. Can't wait to start making her more personal.

Hello All. Thought I would introduce myself by first giving you my Mustang history. I've owned Mustangs for 30 years. My first was a 1988 LX 5.0 MT followed by a 1995 GT MT, 1996 Cobra, 2001 GT MT, 2005 GT MT and a 2013 GT MT. Finally I have a S550. Today I bought a 2018 GT MT (metallic gray) with equipment group 400A, Recaro and 20x9 wrapped in 265/35/20. Still trying to figure out all the neat electronics and what not. One thing for certain, the S550 MT is butter compared to all my previous mustangs. Very little effort is needed to press the clutch and shift.

I look forward to learning and possibly sharing on this site. Off to try to figure out why I cannot program the Homelink...grrr

Thanks,
Rich

Finally got around to pictures. I also have a question about badge color. Notice my badges are a bronze color. Is this OEM or aftermarket? I search the internet and could find any bronze pictures!?!

Good thought and thanks for the reply. What you circled is wax residue left behind by the dealer. I can scrape it off using my fingernail.
Yeah, I've seen the colors at cjponyparts but not this color.

Iā€™m Austin from Indiana. Just coming up on a week of ownership. Itā€™s a ā€˜19 PP1 with active exhaust. All other options were stripped. They laughed when I asked if I could get hand crank windows. Lots of good info here, this forum going to move to the Tapatalk molbile app?
