Hey y’all I’m Jeremy. I finally got a Mustang after years of wanting one. By the time I was financially stable enough to get one we had a kid on the way (he just turned 9yrs old) so that went on the back burner. We ended up having 2 more kids (identical twin girls 7yrs old). Sold our old house and built a new one in 2017. (Beautiful house on 8 acres in the mountains that boarders state forest).

Anyway I’ve always been into cars. I went to school for Diesel Mechanics worked in a shop for a while, joined the Marine Corps Reserve, did 8 years (one deployment to Iraq in 05-06), I got out for 2 1/2 yrs missed it so joined the PA Army National Guard 5 years ago. Currently deployed to to Middle East.

Anyway I’ve been looking at mustangs for the past few months. Well Monday my wife (married for 12 years) and father in law drove over an hour each way to buy me this car!

Now I have to wait a couple months to get home and drive it. That’s ok though I’ve been researching stuff on it and already bought the Roush CAI, a MBRP race cat back, and a Ford Performance oil/air separator. I'll have a few things to install when I get home. I’ve been researching tunes and undecided on doing it or waiting until factory Powertrain warranty is up although an E85 tune is tempting.

The car is a 2017 GT Premium (manual)in magnetic metallic with 36,000mi on in mint condition and all stock (not for long).

Lastly we also have a 2015 Explorer Sport (same color) 2008 F250 crew cab long bed, 2011 Altima 3.5SR, 09 Suzuki Boulevard M90, a travel trailer, and some off road toys.

Hi folks!

My name is Wai and my car is a 2018 Ford Mustang Ecoboost (Kona Blue) with the 3:15 gears and 10 speed automatic, it is all stock for now. The performance of the car is very good (except it does heat soak during hot weather), similar to my old C5 Corvette (LS1 w/ auto and 3:15 gears) stock but with even better handling and grip. My first mod will most likely be an intercooler upgrade.

As of this post, this car has 5300+ miles and is driven hard when safe to do so.

I am from the Orlando, FL area and one of my favorite locations is the Orlando Speedworld Dragway and Old Town (Kissimmee).

Hey bro, did you go anywhere on Air Force C-130's during your first deployment? I was a Herk flight engineer back then and we hauled people all over Iraq. Stay safe and come back to drive that Stang.

I flew from Al Asad to TQ on a C-130 in September 05 then from TQ to Ali in March 06. Those were the only two times I was on a C-130 during that deployment. I’ll tell you what deployments these days are a lot different than they were back then!

Yeah, we flew into all those places. I was home in Sep 05, but I was back in spring of 06, so we might have flown together. Sorry about the ride, man. The back of the plane may be loud and uncomfortable, but at least it smells bad. Still better than a convoy, right?

Got our VIN today, no build date yet, estimated delivery 8/1/19. Can't wait, going to epoxy coat the garage floor to keep busy in the mean time.
