And since you say that you want to "operate" on your Pony, I might point out that there's ample operating room under the hood with the V-6. :clap2: The Cyclone Powered base Mustang is a true bargain...and besides, some people have realized that they can live happy without "My Little Pony Puddle Lights"! :doh:Welcome, and hope you join us. It's a nice community. My wife and I consider our Mustang our "time machine."Hi all,
First post, and no Mustang (yet). Driving a Subaru Legacy GT LTD 5MT wagon that is the best and fastest car I have ever owned, but it's 12 years old and husband and I just finished paying 8 straight years of large college payments for the kids and it's *my* turn for a new car finally.
Started my search process on the BMW side and came very close to pulling the trigger on an M4 (after deciding against a Tesla). Husband is a huge BMW fan, but something about the process of even finding a manual to test drive and, in the end, having major concerns about dropping 80K on my daily driver made me hesitate (much to my spouse's disappointment, ;) )
Back to the drawing board and one day saw a beautiful 2015 GT. Hmmmm. As a native Californian, the Mustang was a serious lust car. And of course, iconic. And buying American is a bonus.
So, dropped by a local dealer and what do you know, they had a car we could test drive sitting right there. It drove very differently than the Subie, but I really enjoyed it.
I've been reading up ever since and this forum was helpful so I decided to join. I've been promised a new car as soon as the youngest graduates college this June - so soon!
Currently thinking about a Ruby Red GT Premium with PP and A401. Excited at the prospects and looking forward to learning more.
Thanks in advance for the help,
JT
. This is the newest S550 to be joining us here at Velgen and will be arriving to us by next week, here are a few pictures in the meantime :ford:
I pulled the trigger last night! It took weeks of searching but I took home my babe last night. 2016 Mustang GT 6-speed manual, Deep Impact Blue, 300a, only option is reverse park assist. I got an insane deal on it. Shout out to Ron Tirapelli Ford in Shorewood, IL for the best car buying experience of my life. Well worth the 90 minute drive to get it.To respond to Carcinoid above^^^
As the old saying goes, " Doctor heal thyself", but do it with a Magnetic Cyclone Mustang with Manual...such a sweet ride will you get from those 300 ponies under the hood. And since you say that you want to "operate" on your Pony, I might point out that there's ample operating room under the hood with the V-6. :clap2: The Cyclone Powered base Mustang is a true bargain...and besides, some people have realized that they can live happy without "My Little Pony Puddle Lights"!
