Hey guys,

I know this is a common issue, please see attached video. Passenger side moves up and down slightly all on its own intermittently.

Window motor or regulator the issue? Is there a DIY fix for this or is it recommended saving the time and hassle and have the dealer do it for about $4-500? I've heard the connector can have weak terminals etc.

Sounds like you have similar prob several on here, including me,have had.
There are several threads about this, but I believe you could do same as I did, get that utoob vid on removing door panel, and find EVERY electrical connector, including on the window motor, and ,one at a time, un hook them, blow out with electronics cleaner, then blow dry with compressed air real good, then get some di electric grease from Advance or wherever, carefully work small amount into the female side of plugs, and re assemble.
Try all the window, door lock etc. Dont mess with anything else til you get panel back on enough to close door, and see if windows go all way up,and down, and especially drop 1/4?" when door handle pulled to get in,and return when door closed.
This took care of my probs, maybe it will help you.
Odd stuff like this will wear an old man out. No tellin what it might do to you younger bros.
Good luck and best regards,,let us know what happens. Dave F

Thanks Dave, beating myself up for not doing this when I just had the door panel off a couple weeks ago to swap new speakers, but yes with the "intermittentness" of it all I believe this is the first thing to try. I'll go weeks without issue then if I open and close that door it'll come back then eventually go away. Thanks for your response!
