Is the sound only when the window completes the full travel, say all the way up.. thud, or all the way down, thud? If so, there is a method to re-calibrate the window travel that worked on the S197 models. From my 05 manual it says:

To re-calibrate the window, pull the switch up to raise the
window until it completes its travel and hold the switch up for 2
seconds.
...
lower the window until it completes its travel and hold the switch down for 2
seconds. Immediately after releasing the window down switch, pull the
switch up to raise the window until it completes its travel and hold the
switch up for 2 seconds.

Hope this helps.

No it's when the window is about in the middle. About 3-4 little knocks

Warranty work then? Seems like a gear is worn or something like that.
