With no JOB2 date released and Sept being a few weeks away, Convertibles will arrive by Dec, 31? Maybe a Dealer Stock "Demo" but doubtful a Retail Special Order. The Unscheduled Order Book for Convertibles hasn`t opened yet with prices to date. Simply error messages with Material Hold pending JOB2.

Right now the focus is to get the fastbacks out this FALL as planned. They cant rush the convertibles if the fastback isnt 100% perfect.

Convertibles arent high priority, but if they can keep a clean schedule, the convertible J1 (pre production) will be 10/28 and 4-6 weeks later the retail&stock orders will start.

In this day and age, I dont know of any dealers ordering a convertible just to demo it. Stock unit?yes but no "demo".
I personally have a convertible on order, ordered as dealer stock unit so I get it before the retail units start shipping ( this is a pattern Ford has had for a long time and has nothing to do with 2015 Mustang).

RisingForce; Have a question? I have attempted to place a 2015 Mustang Convertible at two local Ford Dealerships. I personally know the Fleet Sales Mgr. at one Dealership and the SVT Vehicle Mgr at the other. Both have attempted to place a 2015 Convertible Retail Order for me using my X-Plan and both could not place it. What was the secret your Dealership used? I actually saw them attempt to place the Order using their Dealer Web Based Ordering System and both failed? Maybe that needed to use the "Red" Phone?

Web-based ordering is the issue, I'm guessing. Have them try CONCEPS instead.

Even with my order being submited, when we get our weekly order printouts, it still says

Ok, thanks for clearing up the mystery. I guess that what was what they were attempting to tell me that at this point in time, the actual Order is not going into a live queue. Guess they both are waiting on when a (clean) Order for the Convertibles can be entered.
