what is better for 2016 gt premium ?
boss 302 intake manifold or gt350 intake manifold
and would a super chip flashpaq f5 be a good tune?

I have a 2015 and I was going to install another intake and my tuner (Rob Shoemaker) told me it would be a waist of time because I have a steeda CAI THAT HAS 119mm inlet tube and a 87mm throttle body with LTH and H-pipe, with flowmasters. Rob told me to add bigger injectors because the CAI is providing to much air, and a intake will provide more top end power and less bottom end.

This is good advice but if you're going to do the GT350 TB, he should do the FP PP3. Ford's calibration for the TB is best. That TB is very tricky to tune and you can get drivability issues with it from many of the aftermarket tuners.

I am getting mine installed on Tuesday. Will let you know, I'm also Boosted so my gains will be real 😁 My Tuner Wengered recommends the 2018 Mani (The one I got) Can't wait 🙌

the 2018 is the way to go and lock out the IMRC. For the price can't be beat. I got mine from Brenspeed. Came off of a Ford Racing crate engine (Brand New) I paid about $320

To what ? Upgrade the intake manifold ? Hope he was joking.
I went with a 2020 intake manifold, using the stock 17 injectors, with a PMAS tune required air intake, and went 4/10's and 5 mph quicker.

They can tune it... but with very mixed results from owners. Some are happy and some are not. I know because this topic has been discussed ad nauseum on this board lol. Folks have pulled their hair out trying to fix the drivability issues. I think that a big part of the problem is, when tuners "unlock" the PCM to tune, they don't have access to ALL of the tables that Ford does. When they're tuning your car they don't get the whole puzzle. And the angle of the throttle blade on the GT350 TB is such it has caused issues. I know in the past a lot of tuners from Lund have refused to tune it because of that.

I'd normally recommend to people to skip that TB altogether. It only accounts for like 5 hp at most anyway. The big gain is from the intake manifold. If you must have it, I think PP3 is the way to go. It's a good tune.

Skip the TB no real reason to buy one. More of a headache can result than gains. It isn't 2002 anymore. Stock TBs are very good.

ive got the pp2 / installing the gt500 intake manifold could use the same tune from pp2?
I believe you mean the GT350 Intake. The tune is different.
