Just looked, they're all about $330 to $350. If a GT350 intake is $520 and it flows better, isn't it better to get that one?
Being you have a 2015-17 Mustang the GT350 manifold is plug and play.
To get around the 87mm GT350 throttle body you could use the VMP TB adapter and retain the 5.0 80mm TB and that takes modifying the throttle tables off the list for your tuner.
Being you’re using a centrifugal compressor I’d think there’s merit in not locking out the IMRC.
If you find a tuner worth their salt the 87mm TB and GT350 manifold has a beautiful power curve and doesn’t drop off much power after the peak like the 18+ does.
Wengerd is one of a few who seems to have a real handle on getting the 87mm TB to work as good as Ford Performance.
Ditch the 15-17 manifold, the IMRC shafts are plastic whereas the GT350 is a steel shaft.

@PC_GUARD so what is your rev limiter set to? or what would you recommend?

@GregO good news Wengered IS indeed my tuner, and i wouldn't mind upgrading the TB to the 87. yes, this is of course more money, but if i can do it all in one shot and not have to tear the car apart multiple times, that would be nice. how is the GT350 IM more plug and play with the 15-17 cars?

The IMRC electrical connections are identical.
The plumbing, as in brake booster, vacuum lines, emission ie, PCV are a breeze to connect, no need for whacky hose clamps like the 18+.

Agreed, go right to the 87mm TB if Darryl is your tuning Wizard.

Forget about the other manifolds you listed. The GT350 fits, flows it’s ass off well into the RPM design limit of a stock bottom end and you get to retain the GTPP strut brace.

Greg is right @jmagnus87 just make sure you contact ESS and get the right connections if you go with the gt350 mani and TB!

You could stick with the stock manifold and TB going boost but I personally don’t like the plastic IMRC shafts or the NA air flow curve.
With the GT350 combo the compressor shouldn’t need to work as hard if charge piping and intercooler are sized correctly ?

yeah um, the fact that the GT350 one is made of metal sealed the deal for me on that one. i don't want to lock them out, and if Wengerd is already good at tuning the curve into the build, then great! this car is going to be a monster when it's 'done' (for now) LOL

How fast do you want to go ? Look in my sig , i don't have a gt350 manifold , just the old stock 2015 manifold ..

You're on e85, I'm only going to be on pump gas... also, it's about simplicity of doing it all now and not having to pay for 100 custom tunes. Easier for me, easier for wengerd. I also don't drag race, so blower efficiency is the #1 thing I'm after.

I have both an E85 tune and a 93 tune ..I only use the E85 for the track .

So have you ran yours on pump gas with your supercharger at the track? If so, roughly what time did you see then? Less than 11 seconds?

I believe mine is set at 8k, I shoft around 7500 ish, probably hit 7800 between the shift.

I agree with Greg. I was going to do the 18, had it in my shop, and opted for the 350 due to the simplicity.
