Wawanesa certainly isn't liked by the folks on Yelp.

I ended up switching to Geico. I know I'm about to sound like a commercial but I seriously saved close to 1000 dollars on my car insurance by switching to Geico, with even more coverage than what I was getting with State Farm. Wawanesa was still slightly cheaper but their closest location to me is 2 hours away. At least Geico has smaller offices in Los Angeles in case I ever need to go. $980 for 6 months - I'm 24 years old. Wawanesa was quoting me 860, and I was paying 1800 with State Farm.I'm an adjuster, don't worry about who is better, all insurance companies are more or less the same, take the $1000 savings, way worth it.
