So I have experienced this issue on 2 trips. Both times were on longer drivers (more than an hour) and in rainy conditions. The car will become stuffy like there is no air movement. If you try to turn the fan up you can hear that it speeds up but no extra air comes out of the vents. It has a...
That's not necessarily true. Mules are slapped together with whatever is handy. I've seen pics of Mustang mules where there wiper stalk had a rear wiper control. Those gauges aren't relevant to the performance and tuning so there would be no reason the mule had to include them.
Just slapped the winter performance tires on the Mustang and drive it through whatever. It's our go to car in the winter. The Explorer which was purchased in Florida is Front wheel drive and useless in anything more than 1/2 inch. 2019 Edge ST will likely be the new winter car when it finally...
My car automatically updated to 3.0 over the WiFi. I just got in the car one day and it said I had a new version installed. Now I get the stupid "Sync can look for updates if it's connected to WiFi" every time I start the car away from home. I've messed with all the settings under the WiFi...
That doesn't happen with mine. You can drive away without the key no problem. You can even shut the car off and if you turn it back on within a certain short amount of time (20-30 seconds) it will even restart without the key.
The frustrating this with the Security package is that locking center console unlocks with the push of the unlock button on the door. Key doesn't have to be anywhere around and the alarm could be blaring, that thing just pops open. Hardly seems secure to me.
As Brett said in post #31, Gallons are bigger in the UK than they are in the US. So a car will go further on a UK gallon than on a US gallon because it's more gas. In other words 30 MPG in the UK does NOT equal 30 MPG in the US.
I will admit that I haven't read through this whole thread so my apologies if this has already been addressed. I used to get one email per day with the new posts for the threads I'm following. Now I get a new email everytime a new post is posted. Is there a way to switch back to the single...
I've never actually come across this and I read up on many different cars. Can you provide an example or 2 of factory remote start on a manual transmission car?
The second picture is the Performance pack. It is the same regardless of whether it is a base, premium, GT or Ecoboost. And Performance pack cars get the engine turned aluminum. You can tell because of the extra gauges above the center stack. Also, it has sync 3 and the toggle switches which...
Perhaps in the short run it can continue on its own platform, but eventually the platform will become so obsolete it can't continue. And if, at that time, there isn't something to share with, I don't see how the bean counters will let the Mustang continue. We on this forum all love the Mustang...
The new Lincoln Aviator is supposedly going to be on a RWD platform, so that likely means the next Explorer will also be on a RWD platform. Both of these vehicles are going to have AWD/4WD. I don't know how much that platform could be adjusted for car use, but the simple fact is the Mustang...
While Ford didn't need to make all three of the light sections light up for the brakes, when they didn't people complained then too because it looked weird for the one section of the tail lights to stay dark. See the 2005 Mustang forums for what I'm talking about. As for the brightness of the...
How is the USB option easier? First I don't own a 32 GB drive so I'd have to get one of those. Then with USB you have to leave your car idling for 20-30 minutes. With the WIFI I just pulled in to the garage, shut the car off, pressed scan for updates. It said update found and a downloading...
I updated to a 2.2 build that I got from here a while back. Several weeks ago I saw the 2.3 update on the owner site, but never got around to downloading it. Then 2 days ago I thought I'd do a scan from the car after I got home and shut the car off, but before I opened the door. It says there...
