Tune, E85, headers. And leave it.

Or save and buy boost.

As someone who has been modding their car cheaply, I have continually wanted more hp. Should have saved and went boost lmao.

If you are certain you can mod the car and not want more than do a simple N/A setup and you will be fast and it won’t cost much. But if you will end up wanting more then I would save $6k and buy an ESS supercharger kit or single turbo kit.

Sounds like a lot of money but when you start down the N/A path you will spend the same in the end just to be slower.
Boosting without suspension work first is putting the horse before the cart, bad advice

E85 oh yeah that tune and the availability finding the fuel in one step below electric and charging stations.

KISS !

Some people have lots of e85 stations near them, depends where OP lives. I have one 2 miles from my house.

And not necessarily, OP will be fast with boost on stock suspension, not from a dig, but he didn’t say he wanted to win dig racing. And it’s not really suspension he needs, he will need a tire on boost and with N/A mods.

KISS ?

A rockband known for generally lousy play and music, but wearer of heavy Japanese Kabuki-inspired makeup and costumes.

Keep it simple stupid makes more sense haha

Free flowing exhaust is good for a few hp depending on where you live.

Upgrade the brake pads, great success with Raybestos Element 3 ceramic pad. Suspension mods definitely.

Was not talking about dig racing, it is the handling, keeping the car planted. A boosted car driving the street will need a suspension to keep things under control. Plane wrapper GT compared to the premium GT model has a more squishy, floats-down-the-road kind of ride.

The GT premium with the suspension bracing shown is enhanced.

What I say about E85, although you have it readily available. I offer the following challenges.

Drive across the country or out of state, or a local out on country roads, away from the city or burbs.

Then come back and tell me how easy it was to score that fuel... I understand the power gains.

It really just comes down to this E85 is not that common out in the world most drive in.

Sort of like all the business (hype) with the electrics. The key that people seem to constantly overlook ..........

This commercial demonstrates it perfectly and to some degree is saying the same about the E85.

Opening shot, a Jeep electric in the wild on top of a mountain. Music playing camera panning. LMAO plugged into a charging station.

I want to always know I can find the juice I need at the time I need it.

Again

Easy fix, Flex fuel tune. Best of both worlds. Run E85, 93 or any combo of the 2. No flashing other tunes with different fuels. Just fill and go. Car adjusts. That's as KISS as if gets.

The mods you do will depend upon what your plans are for the car. Are you a straight line driver, or do you like twisty roads, autocross or road course track time?
Some low budget simple mods are hood struts, clutch spring, and catch can. Better tires would be a great improvement.
Don't waste your money on a throttle body spacer or bigger throttle body without first getting other supporting mods like a tune, headers, manifold etc....

Loading a 91-93 tune takes 3 min. Use a flex tune and it will auto-adjust.

E85 is not a big deal and neither is electric. My dad made a cross country trip in his tesla model 3. Not the quickest way to travel but it wasn't that bad.

I've been working on adding modifications with limited funds since purchasing this car...2022 GT automatic, two months ago. Trying to figure out what the best bang for the buck additions are. Was curious if anybody had any experience with throttle body spacers for the coyote. I've read conflicting opinions on the benefits of such a mod. Seems like it's such an easy way to add 2-3HP. But of course, as the old cliche goes, if it's too good to be true, it most likely isn't.

2-3rwhp is statistical noise on a dyno.

Looks like most of the exhaust components just jumped another $200 from yesterday. Or at least I just noticed. Purchased my GT a little under a year ago & that's the 2nd jump in prices. Last jump was around $400

Like cat-back, full exhaust kits, or headers?
