Do yourself a favor and save for a stainless cat-back. There are some 409 systems for not much more than the MBRP aluminized. Unless you keep it in the garage & never drive in weather it'll look like pooh in two years. You'll also be replacing it if you plan on keeping the car for over six years.
I went with. Stainless one with a black finish.

Not the mbrp's. A bit of game changer price wise.
yup, agreed.

Plus, getting a tune just for an intake doesnt make sense imo... you're gonna have to retune it as soon as you throw exhaust on.

Exhaust, intake/tune. Especially given the factory exhaust on these... pretty much a no brainer

Once you get a tune for the intake it is free to get a new tune for an exhaust from a reputable tuner.

the tune is free yes. but time is $ :)

I just dont think it makes sense to tune unless you have both a cai and exhaust. That way the tune is actually having a solid impact. That said, some people are big believers in a tune ASAP though no matter what. I just dont see the use until you want to start tying some mods together

Personally I did a CAI and ARH long system, but some cannot afford that. A tune alone is an improvement over stock and is a starting point. Of course the more mods the better the result would be.
