catback exhaust probably has negligible gains, if any, without a tune.

Thanks guys!! I'm ordering the MBRP race in either black or stainless!! I will probably get a drop in K&N and eibach springs. The next thing will probably be 19 inch rims with wider tires for better grip! Thanks everyone!

You can save money on a new exhaust by just putting a speaker under the rear of the car piping out flat-plane-crank noises. 2000 watt amp and 16" woofer should do the trick.

~ +15hp w/o tune
Have any proof/dynos of this other than manufacturer claims?

I would love to believe, but has been shown a couple times here (on customer cars) that catback does next to nothing hp wise.

Id do tune and intake. More bang for your buck. The cost of most of these exhaust systems is stupid high.

Not the mbrp's. A bit of game changer price wise.

Do yourself a favor and save for a stainless cat-back. There are some 409 systems for not much more than the MBRP aluminized. Unless you keep it in the garage & never drive in weather it'll look like pooh in two years. You'll also be replacing it if you plan on keeping the car for over six years.
