I have a 2015 mustang gt with x-pipe, axel back, tune, gt350 manifold and throttle body, pmas intake, 47lu injectors and e85. Doing headers soon without opening the engine or adding boost it there anything else to add hp wise?

Bolt on a centri like a p1x. But would need full fuel system if wanting to keep running e85 with FI.

For your particular setup, if you're trying to stay NA, really the only thing you can add that wouldn't be too big of a deal would be a set of comp cams with the no spring option. Other than that ,I would agree with the others and say boost would be your best bet. Only other thing I can think of is porting your intake. Other than that you have basically completed the N/A build. Only thing left is cams, boost, or nitrous. Or you open the engine and bore / stroke it, which very few people seem to do.

Just ask yourself do I want a little more power? Then get cams. Or if you want a lot more power but for cheap? Get nitrous. Or do you want a lot more power and want it reliable? Boost it (centrifugal superchargers are probably the easiest and cheapest kits).

How much did your nitrous kit cost?

I’ve thought about nitrous but I daily drive my car and floor it a lot. I feel like it would end up getting expensive. I would buy a supercharger in a heart beat if I had the money.

Once you install headers on your car, your build will be identical to mine in naturally aspirated form. Mine dyno’d at 469 rwhp/434 rwtq on E85.

@tdstuart, I think I have about $4200 invested in my nitrous setup. I don’t even use it on the street anymore, although I did a lot for tuning and data logging. I’m not saying I won’t ever use it on the street again, because I might. It would only get expensive if you used it constantly and had to keep filling bottles. Another thing to consider would be upgrading from a 10# to a 15# bottle to give you some extra playtime; heck, maybe even buy a second bottle and always have a backup ready.

I think most superchargers are around $8K and up depending on how wild you decide to get. I kinda went wild on my nitrous setup. Some of what I have isn’t required, but is very nice to have, such as a remote bottle opener, switch panel, progressive controller with touch screen, billet bottle bracket with built in heater, bracket to mount the billet bottle bracket/heater and a purge kit).

Things that are recommended for a car running a 150 shot on E85 is a BAP, colder spark plugs and of course a nitrous tune. I probably spent an extra $2300 on upgrades.

The cost to fill a 10# bottle in Kansas City was $80. I’m not sure what it will cost down here in Florida. A 10# bottle is good for about 60 seconds which would be about six 1/4 mile passes.

People get caught up in making hp and they end up with a car that has 1000whp but can’t beat a stock Honda
