I was going to suggest to try cleaning the MAF, but looks like you already got that far... The only time I've ever experienced anything remotely similar is when I used to run the air filter open and it would get wet from water dripping through the hood vent .. I'd have to clean the contamination...

Yeah, I hear you. Drove me nuts when I first bought this car... I can easily get away from tailgaters, but those people who are trying to get you to race ... I just completely ignore them like they aren't even there. I think that bugs them more than anything. Where I live, it is not worth...

Fifth year with Krown on this car, countless years on other cars and never had issues with any rubber swelling.

Figured I'd follow up to add another data point for anyone else having this issue. I went to my dealer today and had them look at the hood, they approved a replacement no questions asked... Of course, they have to submit to Ford for final approval, but they don't see any issues that would cause...

Thanks, I've had some pretty bad experiences with Ford's warranty so that's promising to hear.

Any luck with the warranty? I just noticed three spots on the leading edge of my hood... also a 2017. 5-year corrosion warranty expires in mid-April 2022.

Hah, its looking like a good weekend to be inside anyway. I'm likely going to take my car to Arun at CC Performance to get it dyno'd before I go into winter mode... I have no idea what the changes I made this year have done. I'll shoot you a message if I do, different venue for once lol.

Hey guys, unfortunately it looks like the weather is not going cooperate this time. Right now there's a 70% chance of rain on both Saturday and Sunday - and that prediction has been fairly consistent over the past couple of days, so it looks like this will end up being a wash out.
